I don't hate this album but it's just so painfully mediocre for Adele. The tracks themselves don't really ever peak at anything and the lyricism is sad, but not amazing. My biggest worry from “Easy on Me” is that 30 would have too similar of a sound to her previous albums, but, now having listened to 30 in its entirety, know that not to be the case. However, these steps that Adele has taken to upgrade her music style seem forced and unnatural. I personally don’t think most of these songs work, and comparatively to her other works, I was thoroughly disappointed with this album. Expand

mediocre album compared to her past great albums; only a few of the songs are decent while the rest are just fillers. one song where she is complaining about her past husband was fun but other than that its really not of the high Adele standards that people have come to expect.

Esse álbum é o mais fraco da carreira, eu esperava bem mais. O ponto alto é To Be Loved, de resto nada demais.

The album it’s disappointing, there’s nothing new, it’s the same as his older albums, I only like two songs: Easy on my and Oh my god, it’s a really boring album, but Adele’s voice is beautiful.

Adele made a diary, of herself and to herself. The album is so personal that it gets very hard do connect with it. Besides, the songs lack criativity and appeal, turning boring somehow.

Not reach the expectations from the critics.
The melody is a bit predictable, and too many high keys are alike.

Highlights of this album are upbeat songs: Cry Your Heart Out, Oh My God, Can I Get It, also Strangers By Nature. But there are two main reasons why I give this album only 6/10:
    1. Adele gave us absolutely nothing new, of course her vocals are on point, but lyrically nothing new
    2. Half of the songs from this album are unnecessary WAY TOO LONG, I was just asking: "Is it done yet?". Adele

For her next album I think she should focus more on upbeat songs and to put less ballads. I would love to see that for a change.

When Adele said in 2017 that her new album would follow the sound of her song "when we were young", I never thought I would hear this completely new sound from Adele. It's a bold bet for two reasons: I don't find a common thread in the different sounds of the album, which takes it away from calling it monotonous like her past work, however, I also think it's a departure from what more conservative fans are looking to hear from Adele. Another very strange thing is that Adele decided to sing songs like I drink wine, Easy on me, Hold on and Love is game to promote the album, which after listening to the whole album do not represent the sound of the album, which at times reminds me of Jorja Smith (All night parking), Celeste (My little love), Amy Winehouse (Cry your heart out), Yebba Smith (Oh my God), Whitney Houston (To be loved) and Sade (Woman like me) and a song from a cheap pop rockish band (Can I get it) that is probably the worst song in the album totally unnecessary. As for the lyrics, Adele knows what she's doing, and a couple of clichés won't ruin this album. Sometimes I can listen some sounds that you can find in “19” her first album which is nice.

Not exactly the album I was expecting for a divorce album. I was getting ready to cry but instead I danced. Probably I misunderstood the kind of “divorce” she was talking about, maybe she is another Adele now.

This time won’t be big singles, I couldn’t find another “Rolling in The Deep” or a “Someone like you” or a “Hello” but Adele sells anyway but only time will tell if the album is memorable enough or not.

Not her best work yet. She can do better. Adele hasn’t reached the stars yet.

It is definitely one of her best albums, but at certain points it feels like some of the songs are little too long and stretched out to 5-6+ minutes. The overall content, lyrics, vocals, and instrumentation is phenomenal! This also has got to be one of her most vulnerable albums lyrically and vocally. While Adele has changed her sound a little this time around, it gets tiring after a while to listen to the same heartbreak songs and sadness three albums in a row. It's sad that she doesn't challange herself to write about other themes and topics, I mean the world just has a pandemic, and here we are again, singing about failed relationships.

Its about 3 or so songs, and something that seems a little like emotional blackmail. The album does somewhat capture a little of the vulnerability and difficulties the artist has faced but those experiences hardly translate to anything exceptional - especially considering the artist in question.

30 is so mediocre for Adele. It is unfortunate acclaim will still be received nonetheless.

Adele is a great singer and writer, but... my problem with this album is that I find it "overrated". It can be said that the musical evolution is not only in lyrics but also in rhythms, and I think I've heard similarities in terms of sounds in their latest works. I'm sorry but this album leaves me unsatisfied, I expected something different.

Despite her albums being snapshots, sometimes a little more diversity in subject matter would be a good thing. Ultimately, while some intriguing risks have been taken, 30 is probably the weakest, as well as conversely the most intimate and in many ways bravest, Adele album to date.

There are no glaring missteps, and it’s generally a very good effort from a singer who could have crumbled under the pressure of heightened expectations, but instead continues on the path she forged for herself.
