Oct 15, 2016This isn't a grower. This is the first album since the new Radiohead where I've liked every song the first time I heard it. They will probably take this as an insult--but Green Day has made a really fantastic pop album. It's hooky as hell. I can't stop humming the songs.
-
Oct 9, 2016Their best album since American Idiot, I'd say it is up there with it; really hard to judge right now since American Idiot obviously has the nostalgia factor going for it. Can easily say songs on this album would fit nicely on American Idiot and would be up to the same high standard. Collapse

Oct 16, 2016A Great album and actually my first Green Day album. The hooks on this album are great. It's catchy fun and great lyrics too! Highly recommend for Punk-Rock fans and people like that.
-

Dec 1, 2016So much better than the previous Trilogy album but a large step back from '21st Century Breakdown'
My Top 3
1. Bang Bang
2. Troubled Times
3. Revolution Radio -
Dec 22, 2016One Of Best albums of 2016...
Green Day It's synonymous of Talent and great good music.
Revolution Radio Exceeds my expectations.
Of course is better than any in the trilogy Uno! Dos! Tre!, But i don't know if is the best since American Idiot (2004), Because i like too much 21st Century Breakdown (2009)
But in Resume Green Day is back not only in your sound but also back at his Best -
Apr 9, 2017An amazing album, but feels like a conjunct of diferent styles that green day have been playing before and the full album feels so aimless ,but anyway the lyrical content is brilliant the concept is fantastic and is their best album since American Idiot in my opinion.
My personal favs:
-Forever Now
-Youngblood
-Outlaws
-Too Dumb To Die -
Oct 8, 2016Green Day's best album since American Idiot! Say Goodbye, Bouncing off the wall and Forever Now are the best songs on in, but also the others are good. Very impressive
-
Oct 7, 2016An amazing album, Green Day at their best level.
This record contains some of the best tracks they've ever written, with a powerful miscele of different styles, from 70's rock to pure Punk Rock. If you want to label this record there's only one way to do so: this is pure Green Day. -
Oct 8, 2016A huge comeback, it's not easy to produce a record like this one in 2016. On their top both musically and lyrically. Outlaws is becoming one of my all time favourite, but this record is full of incredible tracks.

Viva Green Day!

Oct 11, 2016Boom. They're back. In one day we get a lot of punk rock, but this record is just the best. Honestly this record is at the AI level, an atomic bomb. Awesome as F*ck.
-
Oct 7, 2016I can't understand that everyone seems to like this album.. There is no stand out song and the mix is plain and boring all the way through. I wanted to hear a album where green day went back to the punk rock roots and skipped the ballads but this seems more like a "Arena punk" attempt.
-
Oct 10, 2016UNO! DOS! TRE! was the wrong trilogy. The real trilogy is American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown and Revolution Radio. RevRad is strong from start to finish because of being so focused with its 12 tracks.
-
Oct 7, 2016Green day returns with a record that has all the influences of the great 60's-70's rock/punk bands, emotional and instense, Green day has proven that in this age of music, they're still on the top of their game

Oct 11, 2016Masterpiece. An amazing record. Pure rock, pure fun, pure Green Day. 12 beautiful tracks, incredible emotions, incredible music, incredible lyrics. Welcome back guys.

Dec 11, 2016I don't have much to say about this album. It has good songs, like Bang Bang, but it's just so **** horrible that I don't even want to describe it. Just don't listen to this disgrace to the Green Day name. They should just stop, as everything since American Idiot is absolute garbage.
-
Oct 8, 2016Many will speak about old stuff many will talk about new stuff, i will give my 10 points to the best album for past 3-4 years. Green Day returns with a bang every time, their style is to make everything different what they had done before, that is what i like in them, innovation all the time, who cares that you are 40+ years old, with heart you are still 22 years old.
-
Oct 7, 2016green day is back with a bang , well make it bang bang , troubled times over !! this is perfect , a revolution indeed , time for a third golden age , missed the idiots .
-
Nov 7, 2016This music is Really odd. You can tell the industry is going to **** its like they have no material and are trying to revert back to something that still isn't working. This is not an album that was needed.
-
Mar 25, 2017Old Billy Joe would have beat the **** out of this guy. This album can hardly even be considered rock. It's one-liner pop trash not worthy of the Green Day brand.

Oct 7, 2016Green Day returns in style! They have managed to create a punk album with a classic rock sound. They use the standard power chords, but add musical extras such as using octaves and the bow guitar. It all adds an extra interest to a great album.
-
Mar 7, 2017A great comeback from Green Day after a disappointing Uno Dos Tres Albums.
It contained a great material about shooting frenzy in America and all the political actions there.
The only bad thing from this album for me is the audio quality that seems doesn't quite well mixed.
You can hear a click noise from almost of the song. -
Nov 23, 2019Boring music and GreenDay has just got worse and worse with every record.I wish they'd stop.
-
Dec 23, 2020great album .
-
Feb 25, 2017Green Day's Revolution Radio is finally taking back to it's roots what American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown should've done. Without a doubt, this will be the best green day album ever. Best songs on this album were Bang Bang, Revolution Radio and Still Breathing! Still Breathing is available on Rock Band 4 DLC. It was so hype.
-
Jan 14, 2017Lovely album. IMHO this has the same quality of American Idiot however AI is still the best album produced by them. Great songs with good lyrics. Forever Now is a master piece.
-
Mar 10, 2017Maybe the Best Album of the year, Green Day is back for Glory Days.
Revolution Radio Is Underrated for critics, when judging for miserable 72%
Come on a lot of album of unknown and bad artists have more than 80%,
And Green Day doens't have one album even American Idiot at 79% -
Oct 7, 2017Great Comeback album the best since 21st Century Breakdown, is a Knockout album from these moments in music, Fast guitars, Drums, bass & lyrics also great ballads Still breathing & Outlaws
Highlights in: Forever Now, Somewhere Now, Too Dumb to Die, Bang Bang, Troubled Times, Outlaws, Revolution Radio & Youngblood Too, awesome album -

Oct 7, 2016Perhaps too many catchy rhymes, but the best sound production for a Green Day album. Rough and fast, maybe there is no much innovation in here, but what we have is more than enough.
-
Nov 3, 2016Straight 10 score.
Green Day was the first punk band that i fell in love with when i was in high school and god you have no idea how much i wanted to be them.
After so many years, I was literally crying when this album was released. "Like a soldier coming home for the first time." -
Nov 4, 2016the best track in this album this is now my fav song...
The songs cover the chaos of our times and at times can be powerful and touching. Some standout tracks are Troubled Times, Still Breathing,… -
Nov 20, 2016I personally think is the best album of GreenDay. Because this one is more rebel, Bang Bang is a good example and the way they express their feelings about society is just great like in the song Somewhere Now. Also we can see than they tried to do like a new American Idiot.
-
Jun 7, 2017Revolution Radio is certainly an improovement over "UNO, DOS, TRE", but continues to fail in bringing the legendary group back to it´s former glory or taking it in any new directions.
-
Sep 7, 2017This album is everything the trilogy should have been, fast, direct, good songs and a good sound, although the guitars have more distortion than I would like.
Good enough for fans, but certainly they should try to improve, especially in the lyrics. Billie Joe should understand that he is no longer an angry teenager.
Complimenter? Yes, but they still can not beat American Idiot. -
Nov 8, 2017Some people lost their ears definitely, cause this album sound incredibly good. Green Day change their previous direction and also personally went trough some changes and you can hear that on album. Musically it`s a great album, if you can hear. Lyrics.. absolutely fantastic. This is a Green Day of 2016.
-
Mar 10, 2018While not as groundbreaking as American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown, Revolution Radio is a collection of solid songs. Some low points include Ordinary World and Outlaws (which are still decent) but there are much more high points like Bang Bang, Say Goodbye, Forever Now and Troubled Times which all compare well with the rest of their discography.
-
Mar 9, 2018This album sounds.... Meh. Expected so much more out of it, but instead we got Wild One PT. 2 only it's titled Youngblood. You have Bang Bang which tries to hard to be St. Jimmy/Christian's Inferno. And the only kind of original song is Still Breathing. Which is hardly even innovative. For a Green Day album this is pretty bad..

Aug 20, 2018We can't lie about it guys, Green Day didn't have anything going for them since American Idiot. Than this album was released, and everything seemed fine again. Still Breathing is still on the radio, and Bang Bang and Revolution Radio are some of my favourite songs. A really solid album and totally recommended for ages 10 and up.

Sep 15, 2020I feel that in the 12 songs Green Day have put really their name in each one. A very good pop-punk album. I love it.
-
Feb 11, 2020Solid album. Some really good tracks on here. Couple duds. Fave tracks : Bang Bang, Revolution Radio, Forever Now, Youngblood
-
Dec 29, 2020What an album and a nice return to form from the boys. Better than the trilogy for sure.

MagnetNov 16, 2016Perhaps both the best and worst you can say about Revolution Radio is that it sounds exactly like Green Day. [No. 137, p.55]
-
Nov 14, 2016Aside from Billie Joe’s willingness to open up on more troubling personal issues, of which he only hints, the majority of Revolution Radio is all sheen and no spark.
-
Oct 25, 2016The engrossing full-album reprise Forever Now gives an insight into frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s booze and pills-induced 2012 meltdown, but otherwise Revolution Radio is more melodic air-punching about guns, gas and the American nightmare. File under: Ain’t Broke.
