nickwOct 20, 2004A good listen, could have done without "Get Out of My Head" though. The style has broadened which is wonderful, and the layers of sound are intricate which is always fun.

Hammering a shade softer, MDFMK daubs layers and layers of sophisticated balance -- all depth, no surface.... And the guitars and vintage synths, formerly sprayed on like aerosol cheese, now blend and complement each other -- like, you know, music.
-
MDFMK charts the same breakbeat industrial-thrash that has long been a staple of any KMFDM album, complete with ranting vocals, aggressive songwriting, heavy-metal chords that sound vaguely familiar, and solid programming that reveals a surprising pop sense.

While the music is broader in scope than before, Konietezko has given no ground to his choice of lyrics.
