Didn't know she could exceed BEYONCE, but indeed this is her best work. I can't get through any song from this album without chills! Her voice resonates throughout. It seems that she is her rawest, most truthful yet and I think that's exactly why LEMONADE is so profound.

What an album. Watching the HBO special and listening to it in succession makes you realize how brilliant Beyonce is at getting us to listen to her music how it's meant to be. In an era where albums are diluted down to quick singles and people focusing on singular songs, she takes us all for a ride and forces us to take in this body of work as a whole. The music itself is as experimental as anything she's ever done, and she pretty much nails it. You can clearly note a succession of emotions as the album progresses, going from the first angry songs to the latter joyous/less hard hitting ones. The highlight has got to be Freedom where she sounds as powerful as ever, and the Kendrick guest spot doesn't disappoint. Surely another album that will get thousands talking, and probably one that will be remembered for a long time to come. Expand

Amazing, she outdid herself once again. Bey proves to us once again that she is the baddest in the game, and that no matter how long of a pause she takes, she will always come back on top.

This album is a gut wrenching materpiece. Some songs made me sad, some songs made me happy. Some gave me chills.
I have to admit, I miss the hits-radio friendly-dancy Beyonce, but I do appriciate her jurney as an artist, and I do think she's at her peak right now.

Standout tracks: Don't Hurt Yourself, 6 Inch, Daddy Lessons, Sandcastles, Freedom and All Night.

Her most sonically varied, and distinctive, work to date. It explores electric blue, country, futuristic R&B, rock and gospel. It's also her most personal and yet political, an exploration of the pain of women past, future and present through her own arc of betrayal. Stunning.

This is the best album I have ever heard. We all know that Beyoncé is the best vocalist of this generation and she proves it again with this new masterpiece. If you give this album a "0" then there's clearly something wrong with you. You are probably deaf and ugly anyway. Talent wins again.

    Album Quick Review

    Album - Lemonade
    Artist - Beyoncé
Featuring - The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Jack White and James Black

Before I start, can I just say that the way Beyoncé drops her album, even a free fall seems planned. Well, after her self titled album that released back in 2014, people expected only brilliance from Beyoncé. So here she is with Lemonade. The LP according to TIDAL statement released with it is a ‘conceptual project based on every woman’s journey of self-knowledge and healing’. And boy do I agree. Each and every song is lyrically brilliant, adding to it some amazing music and the sexy, powerful vocals of Queen B.

This is not an usual Beyoncé album; it is so much more than that. The album entirely consists of Piano Ballads that will give you goosebumps. This is no pop music, no 7/11. This is something far more personal and far more real. The album will take you through a journey, not in a specific order but an amazing one anyway. From infidelity to black lives to self importance, this album touches so many topics and does justice to them.

I won't go into details about each song. That will make it a very boring and a very long review because I can go on and on and on about how brilliant each and every song is. However, I will give you my top picks. My top 6 out of the 12 songs are -

Pray You Catch Me, 6 Inch, Daddy Lessons, Sandcastle, Freedom and Formation.

The other six are amazing too. I won't rate this album because it's beyond that.
    Enjoy!!!

It's perfect! Love how Queen Bey came back to show what we;ve missed for 3 years! From cheating, affairs, marriages, and 'Becky with the good hair'. To where she shows her proud black heritage and that #BlackLivesMatter, she shows what's been going through her life through a perfect visual album! This HAS TO BE HER BEST ALBUM YET! Buy it!

Pointless album with no continuity in her songs. She is rapping not singing, also none of the songs is a standout, they all are pointless and worthless with no meaning... Beyonce's not an artist. Its awful to think that the average amount of songwriters for a song in this album is 15, and there are no lyrics at all. This album is a waste of time and music.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Her most emotional, self-righteous & emancipating album to date, in a summary this album tells a tale of pure love, pain and and rage.

To start on this album we'll speak solely on the music

Pray You Catch Me is the moment Bey has waited so long for, the cry for help & it's sung and structured in a way that can feel that she can't find a way to say it so she hopes to be caught in the moment and start from there.

Hold Up takes a note from the powerful woman Bey is, this is the 'Sasha Fierce' of the album a 'i'm the best you're ever going to get in such a jazz soul vibe, this is the narration of Bey's love for Jay, a testimony of 'you're doing me dirty and I won't let this s#*t run'.

Don't Hurt Yourself is the vocally assisted Jack White song that shows the hard to forgive side of Bey, a Neo-Soul Rock Anthem, 'i am the fire breathing dragon' describes this song perfectly. This song is rage + revel! A moment where she let loose and said what she had to say, this is personally the greatest battle cry song she's ever done.

Sorry is the ascending moment of this album, this song shows a moment in which she gives herself a break and realises this is best for her, not the other way around. This is a self loving, heartbroken anthem on doing what's best for you. This is where the concept of Single Ladies meets Angel.

6 Inch is the Strippers Hymn, assisted by vocals by the alluring Weeknd. This is the anthem for the woman about her money, this is for the working woman + the woman about her coin & an owner of her sexuality! a smoker jam.

Daddy Lessons is a more acoustic vibe for Bey, held together strongly by her flawless vocals she gives a sweet serenading moment that tells us a story of how she keeps her head high, due to what her father taught her This is a spiritual country song, a lesson she learnt from her father to be stronger than her counterpart.

Love Drought is as Daddy Lessons shows a turn to healing. This is a transcending song that reminds you slyly of Mine due to the falling vibe. This is the kintsukuroi moment of the album, the healing! The warm embrace of dominant submission. To willingly forgive and love again.

Sandcastles is an ode to her love for Jay and the foundation they've created This reminisces what is built and how it is easily destroyed, this is vocally shaking and so vulnerable.

Forward is a interlude so haunting, it channels the anxiety of her heartbreak through James Blake truly powerful. Resonating a male voice of solace a true moment that resonates in the Visual Album. A beautiful cinematic moment.

FREEDOM is the 'IM BLACK AND IM HERE - WE MAY NOT BE TRULY FREE BUT IM FREE. AND IM HERE.' Kendrick serves an open letter on his views on the pain his people endure.

ALL NIGHT is the healing, this is the answer to questions asked in the opening of this album, this is the moment love came back + love will start again, it's a magical experience.

Formation as you already know, is the cultured moment that stands out to the rest of her singles in previous albums.

As a Visual Album, tied together with scenery that morphs into each other + sealed with beautiful spoken word that tells a tale as you watch one being created the monologues grasp you and teach you the mind of a woman, the mind bent with anger, envy and goes even thorough as she taps into moments that resonate black culture and the love for her race.

Truly a captivating creation that was daring and experimental while smartly formed and highly recommend this as it is 1 of the greatest albums of this millennium.

It is the moments of heartbreak and journey of womanhood + her journey as a black woman, her pain, her loss + her healing. EVERYTHING.

In the wake of Prince's death, Beyonce's LEMONADE simply reminds the public that there is still art to be made, and that one day she will be another legend whose death will create a deep hole in the musical community.

The visual components of LEMONADE should all be praised, as all could sweep the VMAs in essentially every category if the award show actually had significant merit.

Beyond that, Beyonce's voice-overs provide an artistic and emotional depth that has yet to be matched by modern artists.

In contrast to Self-Titled, which came off as Beyonce trying hard to pretend that she isn't a try-hard (see: Haunted's "probably won't make no money off this" knowing damn well she would make money), LEMONADE is Beyonce at her most honest, open, and emotional. She defies genre and defies expectation as she pushes a body of work that is worthy of all the acclaim she has received. Art takes effort, and Beyonce has produced a masterpiece here.

This is a **** masterpiece. Raw, authentic, sincere and emotive as hell. Did not expect this degree of bareness by Bey and her voice is so timeless she can actually transcede from one genre to another like sipping tea. Kendrick Lamar, Jack White and James Blake are the icing on the cake. Fantastic job stretching music to a new domain and era. Hope she keeps up like this.

The visual has become a standard when it comes to Beyonce. However, she raises the bar higher every time. Even if they can't describe it, the impact on everybody's inside world, emotional jungle hidden from daylight, must be quite an event to handle. In a pop-driven world, this work reminds you that you still have a soul, which is growing with or without your awareness.

When a beautiful where one of the most famous & independent woman shows her strength. Communicating her pain through "Sandcastles", anger through "Hold Up", "Don't Hurt Yourself" and "Sorry". Beyoncé didn't let her fans down, she gave huge songs like "Freedom" and "Formation". The album also comes with a full movie that shows that she is a visionary artist.

Bold, beautiful, eclectic, soulful, eccentric...I never thought Beyonce would be capable of an oeuvre like this. After hearing the song "formation", I had high expectations, and I wasn't let down. The whole album digs deep and bursts at the surface with soul.

As always, Beyoncé fails to impress with this album. There's absolutely nothing special on this album (with the exception of Hold Up, that song is great, too bad it's on this horrible album). Beyoncé used to make good music but this decade it seems she has no more inspiration. All of her songs are vulgar and very sexual. She's also singing about issues that don't really exist. I tried to give it a chance but I am disappointed. There's no hit on the album, no melody, no great lyrics either.

I am really disappointed by Beyonce Knowles new album Lemonade. It´s very flat and boring. None of the songs stand out, they all sound very basic to me. Furthermore, I am not a fan of visual albums because a good artist can express his vision or art with only his music and not with a movie or tons of videos. Really shocked by how terrible this album is.

The second half of the album is equally weak; two short songs that don't sound finished ("Sandcastles" and "Forward") followed by a social justice song ("Freedom") followed by a love song ("All Night") followed by another social justice song ("Formation") confuses me. People are saying this album is "a story of a woman's journey" but where is the journey? Beyonce sounds like she couldn't pick a sound or style and stick with it for the entire album. The good songs ("Love Drought", "Sorry") don't save the album from its flaws. Expand

She proves with this album that she's more thirsty for money than LEMONADE putting 0 effort to make it as we could have heard and that's very sad because I actually supported her but I'm so disappointed I was waiting for way much better.

It's way too communal and the album is only made for black people, Some people couldn't identify themselves to the lyrics etc that's sad because people could feel like they're not anymore part of Beyonce's target audience. An album by an international artist like her shouldn't be that sectarian. Once again, that's my opinion, no problem with Beyonce I love her neither with afro americans.

There's only one song I actually like it's "Forward" because it's the shortest song on LEMONADE and because when I played the fist song of the album for the first time I was looking "Forward" to stop listening to this joke of the century.

She's trying so hard to be a Rihanna wanna be singer, like using Rihanna's exactly same type of songs. Rihanna has a particular way to sing and specific types of songs so when I hear "Hold Up" "Sorry", "All Night' anyway... every songs on LEMONADE my thoughts are like "Rihanna could have sung that song". It's very annoying to listen an album by an artiste where every single song reminds me of an other artist. it's a lack of originality.

To conclude, Forward is dope, but the rest is boring. 2/10 because of "Forward" and "Rihanna's type of songs"
