    The brilliance of this album cannot be overstated. We’re back in the 90s and 2000s and God do I love it. This is what pop albums used to sound like. But it’s not just nostalgic, wonderfully angsty pop-punk/pop-rock. It’s also folk (“lacy”) and New Wave (“pretty isn’t pretty”). You hear elements of Taylor, Avril, P!nk, early Katy, Sara Bareilles, Hole.

    This new album is definitely a step forward for Olivia, demonstrating her incredible ability to write, but above all to express emotions, Nigro's production is still the best, the use of each instrument is incredible, and Rodrigo's voice is the perfect complement for those melodies, without a doubt we are in front of the big promise of the music industry.

I can't think of a better way to give the people a sophomore album. The semi-self-effacing rudeness continues with “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” — which is certainly a contender for the ballsiest song title of the year, for starters. There’s no letdown in hearing the actual tune, a take on terminal social awkwardness that turns out to be virtually her tribute to Nirvana.     this album is actually a masterpiece. the angsty and raw songwriting isn't cringe, as some people claim, this kind of art is great for teens like Olivia herself. she's spilling her guts in a way that is so theatrical and exaggerated, in some ways this album feels like the superb soundtrack of an iconic 2000s movie, it is sonically and lyrically cohesive. 10/10 album.

    Well done Mrs Rodrigo! I knew her second project would be worth the wait. She's really owning her craft and doesn't need to follow mainstream trends to deliver great songs. A real songwriter and performer. Haters need to take notes and maybe one day release some good music of their own before they walk on by saying this album isn't good. Take those expectations and shove it cause Rodrigo slays.

GUTS still has some of her sound from SOUR but it is also completely different. She explored different styles in her singing/production and she nailed it. It is angsty, self deprecating, sad, regretful, fun, angry, doubtful and perfectlyOlivia Rodrigo has a gift of expressing difficult, universal emotions in a way many people of all demographics can can relate to (and making it catchy).     Um album mais maduro e menos imediato que o Sour, vemos uma evolução visível tanto no estilo musical, quanto nas letras que são de emocionar e muito fáceis de se identificar, eu mesmo me senti tocado de uma forma que nenhum trabalho dela havia feito antes, simplesmente perfeito, amei, recomendo.

The lyrics are really hard hitting and they are so poetic and genius. The meaningful and special lyrics and an extra splash on greatness to the songs. Her vocals, the instrumentals and overall songs areSOOOOOO GOOD BEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME i love it so much, best work ever, the quality of EACH AND EVERY song is insane.     The vibes are the confessions of a teenage drama queen, punk acid anthems for sad girls & gays going through menstrual cramps, acne breakouts, SATs, and bullying all at once. Moreover, it gives borderline suicidal instrumentation f×××× up high school pop catfights melancholia. A lot of diaristic hormonal imbalance hooks ala Avril/Duff combo. Amazing comeback!

    The rollercoaster of emotions while listening to GUTS is insane. She was able to capture the struggles and troubles of a 19/20 y/o while keeping it relatable to both the younger and older generations. This is a level up from her debut album so i'm giving it a perfect 10!

    Olivia Rodrigo is one of the most exciting things in pop music right Joe’s She has elevated her material since the debut album without changing direction completely. This is one of the best follow up albums ever and was always going to be difficult to compete with such a successful first era. Olivia’s contemporaries should be worried, next stop - album of the year at the Grammys.
