A richly defined, innovative experience, Lost Echo is exactly what an iOS adventure should be, capturing the spirit of traditional adventure gaming with all the potential the platform has to offer.
Its unique art direction and old school gameplay will certainly appeal to gamers who grew up with adventure games of the 90s.

Lost Echo is got an intriguing story, some nice levels and simple touch controls, but the gameplay doesn't shine.
Even though it struggles sometimes to keep the story flowing, it's a great option for those looking for graphic adventures and, above all, a promising first title for its developer, KickBack.
This is true of Lost Echo as a whole: while its plot stumbles in the final act and its characters never fully get off the ground, the surrounding build-up and adventure is worth experiencing.

Lost Echo is an adequate point-and-click adventure with a few good puzzles, but it's let down by poor writing, a bland world, and a raft of uninspiring head-scratchers
