    Last year, I thought Billie Eilish was just another tumblr kid. Back in fall 2018 I really fell in love with her EP and her singles from this album. The album finally came out at the end of March, my most anticipated album this year, and I LOVED IT! She is so cool! She reminds me of Fiona Apple but she is much more mainstream.     Vey unique album. Has a mostly dark tone with a few bright moments thrown in. Definitely one of the most creative albums in recent time. when the party's over is absolutely amazing.

    This album isn't just great for a then 17 year old. Most artists don't surpass this for their entire careers. This is a dark, innovative and terrific listen. The minimalistic yet tasteful production allows Billie's unbelievable vocals to shine. It is one of the best pop albums of the decade.

    Low-rent Lorde demos by someone whose hair matters more than her lazy voice. The audio equivalent of a man-bun. Billie's licensed "Bad Guy" to so many UK commercials - maybe she's cashing in because she knows her success will be short? Enough body-shaming of her, people - focus instead on her brother being in her bedroom so much. Ewww.

    This album has some unique moments but overall I am a little underwhelmed. I just hope that there are more quality songwriting and production in the project, which are things necessary but lacking. I also think there are quite some moments on the record that completely bore me out, maybe due to the vocals and the production.     Billie was one of the few artists that got me just on the first album. She brought such a snap of the dark but the light at the end and her sweet and soft voice of the will to listen, over and over again. This is good in an album because it does not bring fatigue and power to stop listening. Sensational.

    While Billie Eilish's Debut Album features snappier production, catchier hooks and a more diverse sound her major label full length album falls apart from weak lyrics and a not fully capitalized dark aesthetic. Once in a while you can find sticky, memorable and even sometimes funny lyrics like in Bad Guy where Billie mentions "Seducing Your Dad." But Most of the time Billie's lyrics relyWhile Billie Eilish's Debut Album features snappier production, catchier hooks and a more diverse sound her major label full length album falls apart from weak lyrics and a not fully capitalized dark aesthetic. But Most of the time Billie's lyrics rely on cliches and a overtly fake deep emo persona. Despite all of these gripes i still find some of this record enjoyable. The Dark melodic and bass heavy "Bad Guy" is a great intro to the album and the albums outro "I love you" sees the most lyrical and heartfelt we've seen Billie on a track ever. Songs like this hint to the potential of Billie but tracks like the contradictory titled "All Good Girls go to Hell" is just what annoys me about Billie. Her fake deep persona and cliches are all on display on this track and shows just what critics and fans dislike about Billie's music. Deeper into the tracklist we find more oddball tracks like 8 where Billie sounds like she is literally 8. The Effects put onto this track don't enhance the vibe or have any deeper meaning. Even Ignoring the vocal effects the production on this track is meh and Billie's lyrics don't change my opinion on this track. Overall Billie's Debut album has a few killer tracks but more is hinting at her potential as a young figure in pop music. If you're a Billie Fan this album will be right up your alley but for any hater this album will surely not change your opinion on Billie's music.

    I’m not a big fan of Billie, but this album is actually great, with some heartfelt lyrics and nice instrumentals and harmonies but, in my opinion, a lot of Billie’s songs just sound the same, very sleepy and slow.

A 16 year old artist releases a single meant initially as a project for school which blows up and breaks records creating high expectation and scrutiny. She captured the praise of the critics community declaring her talent unanimously. This album maintains it's theme so perfectly using narratives weaved by her and her brother to explore dark emotions and realities with an earnestness that makes the record more personal. The singles sound better (yes,thats possible)and the cohesiveness is amazing especially considering the DIY nature of their work. Finneas's production is so adept and idiosyncratic for such a young producer. Using mundane objects and inspirations to mine sounds from . That spontaneity isn't lost as the music feels 'alive'. The beautiful experimental closer which literally summarizes the entire album is so smart and dark and offers closure to the albums relative apathy. I enjoyed pure heroine part 2 alot.     Probably one of the best debut albums of all time! The production makes this whole body of work very cohesive and enjoyable. The story being told by each song is very intriguing and I love how Billie included a wrap up song like ‘goodbye’. Overall a 10/10. Awesome job Billie!

    One of the most well produced and experimental debut albums of all time. From the story telling to transitions in tracks billie made a loud statement with this album. Little sounds that are hidden. Emotion is portrayed so deeply. Ending it with goodbye was a genius move. Being that this is her debut she only has room for more in the future.

    I don't have the same love for this everyone else seems to have but the last 3 to 4 tracks really hit home for me. Love or hate her music you can't deny Billie's voice is Incredible. Excited to see where she goes from here.

    Just a couple of years ago, I was blown away by Billie’s album ‘don’t smile at me’. However, this album seems a bit rushed and many of the songs sound very similar. Bad guy, although becoming a top hit in several countries, came across to me as very boring. A few songs were good, though. A shame since her firstborn album was so good.

    This album is a true masterpiece. Billie takes the down-tempo somber tones of the anti-pop sound and makes it her own in a really solid debut album. The production by FINNEAS, Billie's brother, is on point and is probably the best production I've heard this year in an album. It's so coherent and very well put together. The concept was clear and very cleverly put together. Billie's vocalsThis album is a true masterpiece.     This album as a whole is not just an album, it's an experience; and I highly recommend you listen to it. Billie takes you on this journey that will leave you captivated from start to finish and it's a real triumphant body of work.

    Definitely one of the best if not the best pop album of the year the instrumentals from finneas are very variable, catchy and always perfectly fitting to the track its on it has hard hitting bangers as well as beautiful ballads billies voice is on point and she shows off her talent on nearly every track her songwriting although sometimes a little bit -deep- is also pretty good

    At first I thought who is this and why is she so hyped all of the sudden. Then I heard bad guy and listened to it a milllion times. Which led me to search for more songs. Every song is good. It’s unbelievable. This is a real artist. This is art.

    Amazing through and through! Everything is literally perfect: the production, the vocals, the delivery, the songwriting, absolutely everything. The most cohesive album i've heard in a while, not to mention that it's her debut.

    billie’s debut album is a piece of art. the aesthetic is unique. every song is different from one and another. the connection between song to song created a story line which made me cry everytime i listen.

    This album is consistently good from start to finish. Is it perfect? Not by any means. Despite this, Eilish manages to capture the tone she was going for perfectly in her debut album (although she had previously released an EP.)

    Simplemente asombroso. Eilish logra transportar a cualquier persona sin importar su edad a los miedos, inseguridades, molestias de un adolescente promedio. Excelentes letras cortesía de FINNEAS y la propia cantante. Un álbum con una producción excepcional que aunque es su álbum debut, da la talla a cualquier álbum del más alto nivel.

    This is severely underrated. Billie and Fineas craft such a great LP with meticulous production, writing, and vocals which unfortunately gets passed up by many.

    She has such a unique voice and song writing talent at such a young age. I love that she doesn't need to shake her arse on counter tops half naked for views. I love so many songs off this album, but I can't listen to it too often as some are a little heartbreaking. As a first offical album from an artist, it doesn't get as nice as this very often. Excited to see what she does next!

    el álbum en sí es bueno, junto con la temática que aborda. sin embargo, siento que algunas canciones sobran, haciendo que no encajen bien con el álbum. aún así creo que es un álbum simple, bueno y adecuado para empezar con su carrera. mis canciones favoritas son bad guy, my strange addiction, bury a friend y ilomilo
