May 17, 2023A very fun yet reflective album that combines sounds from both old and new soul music to create an experience that is weirdly nostalgic yet still comments on issues that affect modern life in the USA's southern states.

May 12, 2023Seemingly posed as a promise and threat, Wait Til I Get Over is a striking and poignant deviation..

May 4, 2023This meeting of varying experiments is at the core of Wait Til I Get Over, Jones is able to challenge himself while still keeping the narrative of the LP intact, an expedition that could’ve given us countless results. What we got was an album that sits in the middle ground of the past and future, toying with the present in order to give the listener a full experience rather than a simple collection of songs.

May 4, 2023It’s a record that’ll please newcomers and existing fans alike, but, given the backstory and heart poured into ‘Wait Til I Get Over’, the record existing for Jones feels like a triumph. Whether or not he brings these sounds or elements back to the group is yet to be seen, but this record will shake the walls of Hillaryville and beyond.
