Maybe Lana Del Rey's best album ever. This album is just a pure tragic poetry.

Ultraviolence is a melancholic album, full of sadness and nostalgia.
Undoubtedly a magnificent work, with excellent lyrics and instrumentals, BROOKLYN BABY, WEST COAST, SAD GIRL, OLD MONEY, are outstanding songs.

Um dos melhores e maiores álbuns de Del Rey, o estilo rock vintage com algumas pegadas de pop faz com o que o álbum se torne o melhor de 2014. Shades of cool é uma das músicas mais incríveis que já ouvi

This album is great if you're looking for a soft rock and psychedelic pop. Although this album is considered one of the "fan favorites", i think this album lacked in production and quality. She definitely had improved since this album and i think songs like Money Power Glory,Guns And Roses and F*cked My Way Up To The Top were a bit bland and sometimes maybe even skips. Id rate this album aThis album is great if you're looking for a soft rock and psychedelic pop. Um álbum muito coeso e consistente. Podemos ver uma história sendo traçada se for escutado da última faixa até a primeira. Um marco na discografia da Lana e com certeza um dos seus melhores trabalhos.

Truly her best album when it comes to production, sonority, and vocals and even lyrics, & proves Lana’s artistic path is best suited in rock music.

Lana finally takes a turn on her career. Even tho this album has a LOT of weird takes, it's one of her most influential albums, which I can totally see why people would have as a favorite. Love how she creates a space to the album, and her vocals are on point every time.

  1. A shake up in the lyric department would be nice to see next time around, but on this outing Lana Del Rey is able to sell it with striking vocal performances and breathtaking compositions.

While her David Lynch qualities remain, there's also something of the masochistic Lars Von Trier heroine in the resigned drowse of these songs. [Sep 2014, p.92]

Underwhelming ending aside, it’s fair to say that Del Rey (and her collaborators) have more than risen to the challenge of keeping her a part of the pop culture conversation, for all the right reasons.
