    Um começo promissor. Consigo ver esse álbum como um diário intrínseco e sincero dos melhores e ao mesmo tempo piores anos da vida de uma menina, a adolescência. Chega ser interessante como tem uma música para a maioria dos sentimentos exacerbados dessa época em nossas vidas: Tim Mcgraw para quando você perde alguém, Picture To Burn sobre o ódio que só adolescentes conseguem sentir,Um começo promissor. Consigo ver esse álbum como um diário intrínseco e sincero dos melhores e ao mesmo tempo piores anos da vida de uma menina, a adolescência. Chega ser interessante como tem uma música para a maioria dos sentimentos exacerbados dessa época em nossas vidas: Tim Mcgraw para quando você perde alguém, Picture To Burn sobre o ódio que só adolescentes conseguem sentir, Invisible para todos aqueles que não são vistos da forma que gostariam, Tied Together With a Smile que para mim é uma irmã perdida de this is me trying e explora a mesma temática de não sentir-se suficiente. A Taylor começa sua carreira com composições boas e dignas para a sua idade e condizentes com o ritmo do álbum. Em resumo: com apenas 16 anos Taylor Swift em seu primeiro álbum consegue consagrar-se como pupilo da música country e mostrar uma pequena parte da grande lirista que ela se tornaria em poucos anos. O álbum tem algumas músicas ruins, que contém ou uma produção mal feita ou uma letra boba demais coisa completamente compreensível pois se trata do debut de uma artista country em 2006.     TRASH, TRASH, AND MORE TRASH. Nothing expected from tayble stiff as her albums are horrible, she can’t dance, can’t sing, and can’t perform. Terrible basic generic yt woman, literally ANYONE is more talented than this horrible flop. Nasty woman!!

    Good debut and it has really good bops. Still i believe it doesnt have exceptional songwriting, production nor vocals, but it’s understandable for a debut album of a 16 y/o girl

    For a 16 year old girl whose career was just starting, this album is very well executed. I barely listen to country music, but I think I am still able to say this album is a good example of what country music should sound like, and it also shows that Swift has always had great songwritting abilities.     One thing that I still don't enjoy is Taylor's voice. I know she was a new artist back then, but, man, her voice sounds a bit annoying sometimes, specially when she is trying to hit high notes; but besides that, I have to say this is a good first album. The album is consistent and stays to true to its country themes. While it may not be someone's favorite on the first listen, its definitely a grower. Apart from amazing Swift Classics like Our Song and Teardrops On My Guitar and Should've Said No, some of the other standouts on this album are Tied Together with a Smile, Invisible and Mary's Song (Oh My My My)… Expand

É produzido no ponto certo, é cafona no ponto certo, e também é extremamente memorável e impactante no meio. E foi daí que conhecemos a nossa queridinha que ignora tanto o Brasil, e que desde então se tornou a maior do mundo.

    This album was the foundation of Taylor's music career in country music which established her footstep. She went on to be nominated for the grammys as the BEST NEW ARTIST cause of the classics like SHOULD'VE SAID NO and OUR SONG. Its a timeless album .

    Taylor wrote or co-wrote everything here herself (including the hit “Tim McGraw”), and while the most immediately striking songs are her eviscerations of no-good teenage boys (“Should’ve Said No,” “Picture to Burn”), the more thoughtful material suggests a talent poised to last well past high school.
