    Uma obra de arte muito subestimada. Após todos esses anos ainda é possível que jovens da nova geração se identifiquem com a letra e historias contadas pela jovem Taylor. Ansioso pra ouvir posso a regravação desse álbum, para notar ainda mais as mudanças na voz e pra ouvir as músicas From the Vault. Tomara que i'd lie e Beautiful Eyes sejam algumas delas.

    This album introduced the world to what was to become a global icon. She's a 10/10 and she knows it even though the fans are sleeping on her guitar.

    Deeply underrated. A solid pop-country debut album. Swift's artistry in lyricism is already identifiable at such an early stage, though no one from this could've ever predicted she would grow up to write ATW10MV or folklore and evermore!

    A very underrated gem in Taylor's discography. I can't wait for the re-recorded Taylor's Version, it'll be so great to here the songs with a maturer voice. My favourites are A Place in the World and The Outside. The albums also contains cult classics like Our Song, Picture to Burn, Should've Said No and Teardrops on My Guitar.     Makes me, a Canadian, feel like a good little yeehaw cowboy from Alabama. Our Song, Should’ve Said No, and many others are incredible songs that deserve much more appreciation.

    Obviously this is a debut album, and perfection should never be expected, but this album is close. The cohesion, and the lyricism make this a very solid country record. Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) will sure be a step up as the only flaw with this record is some marginal vocal performance.

    Um começo promissor. Consigo ver esse álbum como um diário intrínseco e sincero dos melhores e ao mesmo tempo piores anos da vida de uma menina, a adolescência. Chega ser interessante como tem uma música para a maioria dos sentimentos exacerbados dessa época em nossas vidas: Tim Mcgraw para quando você perde alguém, Picture To Burn sobre o ódio que só adolescentes conseguem sentir,Um começo promissor. Consigo ver esse álbum como um diário intrínseco e sincero dos melhores e ao mesmo tempo piores anos da vida de uma menina, a adolescência. Chega ser interessante como tem uma música para a maioria dos sentimentos exacerbados dessa época em nossas vidas: Tim Mcgraw para quando você perde alguém, Picture To Burn sobre o ódio que só adolescentes conseguem sentir, Invisible para todos aqueles que não são vistos da forma que gostariam, Tied Together With a Smile que para mim é uma irmã perdida de this is me trying e explora a mesma temática de não sentir-se suficiente. A Taylor começa sua carreira com composições boas e dignas para a sua idade e condizentes com o ritmo do álbum. Em resumo: com apenas 16 anos Taylor Swift em seu primeiro álbum consegue consagrar-se como pupilo da música country e mostrar uma pequena parte da grande lirista que ela se tornaria em poucos anos. O álbum tem algumas músicas ruins, que contém ou uma produção mal feita ou uma letra boba demais coisa completamente compreensível pois se trata do debut de uma artista country em 2006. Em suma, Taylor Swift começa seu legado em grande estilo e com músicas que envelhecaram muito bem.… Expand

    This is my least favorite TS album. But still it's better than Kanye West's whole discography. Can't wait for the rerecordings.

    Taylor wrote or co-wrote everything here herself (including the hit “Tim McGraw”), and while the most immediately striking songs are her eviscerations of no-good teenage boys (“Should’ve Said No,” “Picture to Burn”), the more thoughtful material suggests a talent poised to last well past high school.
