I don’t mind the experimentation of the album, but honestly it almost seems like they are trying to sell out already and they just got started. Hate to see it because they genuinely have had my interest piqued since day one for being so different but the auto tune and beat machine doesn’t do well for them, luckily Vessel has good enough vocals and lyrics to make it listenable, but I feelI don’t mind the experimentation of the album, but honestly it almost seems like they are trying to sell out already and they just got started. This album transits magically through diverse music genres, it is like riding an intense emotional rollercoaster of feelings carefully built by a talented broken soul.

Incredible. The album feels like a journey from start to finish. Euclid had me in tears.

It's as great as it could get. Emotional, heavy, uplifting, this record gives us a full display of what Sleep Token can do. Songs like The Summoning, Vore, Ascensionism, Take Me Back to Eden or Euclid gives us one of the best projects of this year.

There are many theories as to the meaning behind the songs, the albums, and all the lore, but ultimately what they've made is a masterpiece. It's ethereal and it's been a journey to be able to listen and experience it.

If you're thinking of listening to it, do it. Go in with an open mind and see if you like it and how it makes you feel. Some will, some won't, and that's okay!

An incredible realization of all the musical styles Sleep Token have been cultivating up to this point, and much more. Each song deserves a listen for a different reason.

This is art. The storytelling, the lyricism, the metaphors, the musicality. This is what music is supposed to be like. It's an experience.

Sleep Token exceeds expectations, and their creativity knows no bounds. There are no skips in this record.

This is easily the best album I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Despite the fact I've only relatively recently discovered this band, they've managed to make quite the impact, especially with the release of this album. Take Me Back To Eden is by far, a masterclass of an album, the genre blending is beyond that of what most others could achieve, and the vocals are hauntingly beautiful, and the lyrics to each song are deep, meaningful and oh so very relatable.

This album is a work of cheese-lined brilliance. Honestly, if it were not executed with so much commitment and excellence, it might have blown up in their faces as a complete cringe-fest. They do bring absolute commitment, however, and the excellence shows through the bulk of the tracks on this album. I had no real regard for Sleep Token's previous work, but this is on an absolutely different level. I expect that this album may well one day be regarded as the album the broke the damn between metal and the wider musical landscape. Expand

This band’s tedium, their mercilessly polished tones, their big bucks mastering, their humourless refusal to spotlight any glorious points of absurdity within their own writing, their algorithmic combination of the most derivative parts of how many separate genres into a no less unremarkable whole - it all makes for one of the most irksome feints at artistry I’ve heard this decade and feels oriented towards an impressionable audience with sickeningly calculated precision.

After three or four of these hard-to-follow stylistic roadmaps, however, the excitement quickly becomes exhaustion, and Sleep Token's overly-polished sound starts to feel more overwrought than enjoyable.

It may not be revolutionary in its music or pantomime, with some evident missteps. Still, the secret society is doing a world of good by exposing a gamut of fans to the many genre-bending tricks they possess.
