I don't care what anyone says, I hail this album as the best album of all time. It has so many songs on it and they all are great. Usually albums have 15-18 songs and 2,3 maybe 4 are good. Stadium Arcadium has 28 songs and they all are great.

Stadium Arcadium is a musical triumph for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. it's their most creative album they've ever put out. Each track stands out. It's their best album to date and they probably will never make an album better than it. A

Honestly, this is probably my favorite album of all time, coming from one of my favorite bands of all time.
Almost every song of the 28 is an instant classic to me.

This might be their best album to date. The only reason I don't give this a 10 is that I think they could do much better. Now that they've perfected their sound I'd like to see them branch out a bit more. This is one of those CD's you put in your car and never take out. No. This isn't perfect, but so many of the songs on the album are genius. At least 18 out of the monumental 28 tracks are some of their best. But the rest are still great. There are a few Meh tracks, which are mostly found on the second half of the record, but this doesn't really detract from the overall feel and awesomeness of the album. I'd give the first half a 11/10 and the second anNo. This isn't perfect, but so many of the songs on the album are genius. At least 18 out of the monumental 28 tracks are some of their best. It's probably not even the best album they've created (that probably goes to Californication), but because so many of the songs are so excellent it deserves a 10. Expand

I love the whole album, but the thing is, I love almost every other Red Hot Chili Peppers album more than this one. My go to songs are She's Only 18 and Wet Sand!

One of the greatest displays of guitar work ever. To me, the lyrics are way underrated and the long album is just what the Chilis needed. A great album for John to leave on.

This is a very ambitious project from the Red hot chili peppers. A 28 track album! And they pull it off, so well! Being only 18, Stadium was my first experience of the Chili Peppers. My personal favourites are Dany California, Snow, Hump de bump, slow cheetah, especially in Michigan, Tell me baby, Readymade and Storm in a teacup. Yeah...there are a lot of good songs. Charlie is the only song I don't like, and I'm sure that is just personal taste. I recommend this album to anyone, it's certainly in the top 20 albums in history. Expand

If you took the best 12 or 13 songs from this sprawling double record, you'd still have a pretty dull, funk rock affair. There are half a dozen good songs, another half dozen average songs and over a dozen tracks that just act as filler. That's way too much filler by anyone's standards. Dani California is very good but very little to like apart from that.

An album full of tame, uninteresting mid-tempo rock. Without the pop harmonies of By the Way or blazing energy of Blood Sugar Sex Magik, you realize that Anthony Kiedis doesn't really have anything to say. With the rhythm section stepping back, this is now another typical four-piece rock band. The musicianship is technically great... but so is Yanni's. Listen before you buy.

I feel that this album is their best work to date. The band really seems to gel on this album. There seems to be no competition on this album, everyone is at their best and each is given a chance to shine without interupting the flow of the track. It's a mature effort put forth by the peppers and it really does surprisingly fill two CD's nicely.

I will admit that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favourite band so I was expecting astronomical things from this album. too long (shock), lyrically poor, and too similar to the same stuff they've been making over the last 15 years. Although some guitar solos and bass lines were good. And they even used a trumpet on 'Torture Me'

Some uninspriring lyrics and gift-wrapped-singles are offset by a guitarist who is proving to be a master of his craft. Frusciante's riffs are small slices of musical heaven at every turn. Flea continues in the same vein as the past 23 years, indulging in furious finger-slapping, but while not trailblazing, he must be commended for providing some damn fine bass to wiggle our butts Some uninspriring lyrics and gift-wrapped-singles are offset by a guitarist who is proving to be a master of his craft. Chad has and always be good. And Anthony.... well Anothony will always be Anthony... More than a few grains of salt needed. A fine, solid album that above all, you will enjoy listening to. While not innovative in any sense, and mostly just a greatest hits without the hits, the album is a must have for any RHCP fan, or just anyone who likes good rock. Expand

It's simply amazing to listen to the first cd and realize thats only half of the greatness that is Stadium Arcadium. Each song follows the previous song flawlessly and the album as a whole is the best thing I have EVER bought!

A poor follow up to "By The Way" It would appear the chillis have gone for quantity over quality on this record. It lacks the passion & soul of BSSM. It is frustrating in the sense that they are capable of making much better music. If this is not the last lp the chillis put out i will be very suprised!

  1. Stadium Arcadium ensures that graying Lollapalooza-era fans, indie teens, and rowdy lunkheads will all be satisfied.
  2. Somewhere along the line the Chilis got sophisticated on our asses.
  3. Frusciante's guitar work... almost single-handedly saves the project, but not quite.
