May 8, 2014LOVE IT SOO MUCH......this is just perfect too listen in car...to relax :).This band is full of ironies and great jokes that's why I really like soo much...sadly there are not soo many people interested in it.

Oct 2, 201499? One of the most overrated records ever. Paved the way for pompous, angular, college rock that only holier-than-thou scenesters listened to. Over-mythologized just like Neutral Milk Hotel.

Jun 9, 2014As different and unique as it might've been back in the day, this album is subtle and sublime at the same time. Sounds like very organized thrash and plays like an ambient masterpiece.

Feb 17, 2015This is one of the bet albums ever made. This album deals with all kinds of emotional issues, from social anxiety, to codependency, and beautifully orchestrates it all with some wonderful repetitive guitar work and vocals that range from soft whispering to screechy whining. Anyone who is looking for an album that is a bit out of their comfort zone should start here.

Jul 10, 2014Definitely a challenging album, until you go back for the fourth time and realise how this truly is a genuine masterpiece. Each song has a different impact on you, and is definitely an album that changed my view on music in general.

Dec 26, 2019Among the best records ever. I've listened to a huge amount of post-rock, math-rock, and progressive rock but I've yet to hear any rock album like this one. It is utterly unique and utterly brilliant.

Dec 13, 2020Just discovered this band this year and... there's only 2 albums if I'm not wrong, and it's so insane. True masterpiece.

Jul 10, 2014It's as if this box set wants to prove Slint was human, not just a faceless menace that cut a record lost to time and circumstance, worthy of celebration and also fitting neatly in a box.
-
May 13, 2014It’s powerful stuff, still wholly worthy of “10 fucking stars”.

May 9, 2014The real beauty of all the context provided here for this batch of songs is not that it extols or magnifies, but that it humanizes.
