    I love how she managed to keep the innocence in her voice and how the instrumentals became cleaner, now speak now has a production. The new tracks are amazing, I Can See You stole the scene.

    Dei um pelo trabalho de fazer um álbum, pq de resto, é muito mais do mesmo e raso. Mesma temática/referencia a ex, até machismo dela própria (que os fãs se orgulham e replicam que querem rivalidade feminina e vão ouvir a primeira versão de uma das faixas). Enfim...

    El álbum, como todo regrabado de Taylor, simplemente pierde la escencia de una joven Taylor que pudo componer y cantar, como en este caso, Speak Now tiene las mismas letras, pero la voz de una Taylor más madura, que ya no encaja con la idea de una joven Taylor de hace 10 años, y vaya que el álbum decepcionó.

I still remember how I was addicted to it. The songs spoke to me. When she started rerecording her albums, I feared she'd change them and, although some songs on Red sound different, mostly, it's all been kept and improved. It's not different with Speak Now, the album is exactly the same, but her voice is more mature and so is she, so I understand changing the lyrics in Better Than Revenge. The only thing I'm missing are the "more-country" versions of Story of Us and Back to December and the Pop version of Mine. But it's fine, the album is amazing and finally she owns it. The new tracks are awesome. The vocals are even better and sometimes more aggressive like in Mean. The mixing is astoundingly in keep with the originals. Dear John, Never Grown Up and Enchanted took me places. I was never really a fan of Last Kiss, but now I am.… Expand

    This album was a surprise for me last year of how good the story-telling was and being written in her 18-22, it just made me value it much more bc they are so relatable. Genuine, angsty, lover, all those feelings are transparent in the songs and with this rerecord, her vocals are so much better and the instruments that were added, they add much more feeling to the songs, I love me some Taylor.

    Never thought Speak Now could be improved but Taylor did it. Even when she changed some lyrics, the soul of her masterpiece is intact. Sonically is just wistful and beautiful.

    i’ve loved taylor since 2020 and both fearless and red tv felt quite loyal to the original albums, but there were lots of small changes on this album that are quite unnecessary and annoying, such as the verse on better than revenge, the lack of the shaky breath on last kiss, production changes on various songs etc. Also, i’ve found the vault a little boring.     The album portrays a version of Taylor when she was younger. The album truly captures the younger taylor and expresses the feeling and deep emotions that she felt through the fame and life at the time. The album is consistently breaking recording throughout the day and is expected to break more throughout the week.

    This re-recording, out of the 3 ones she's already released, is the best in terms of production and vocals. Truly an upgrade from the 2010 album.

    Some of the songs didn't get better, actually Last Kiss and Better Than Revenge lost some of the emotion, but otherwise some get really better like Dear John, Haunted and especially Innocent. I like the way she didn't changed that much some classics like Enchanted and Long Live, so they keep perfect. And The Vault was absolutely good, despise not better than Red.

But elsewhere, she divests from fantasy archetypes—the knight on a white horse, the helpless child—that once limited her. Think of the new Speak Now as a call and response between who she was and who she is.
