    pop perfection! best debut album of all time!
    The way it makes me so emotional and reletable is what makes it a masterpiece! She has a great future as a main pop girl!

Then there's happier an amazing song that she wrote by herself. I think jealousy, jealousy is my fave tho, and there's also the singles which are amazing; deja vu one of my fave songs of all time.… Expand

    umm... i do enjoyed this body of work. its teen, its fresh. something about the rock or her attitude that gave this record amazing ( shout out to hope ur ok, that song makes me cry). but in some parts of some songs i kinda miss something, some vocals or u know. but overall thats is a real jam. really like it.

    Amazing album!! Olivia, you did great. I’m not a teenager anymore but I could feel the songs like one haha Brutal is soooo good, She brought rock to pop again in a wonderful way

    Muito bom!! Esse álbum mostra tudo oque ela passou no seu antigo relacionamento, suas dores, mágoas e ressentimentos pelo seu ex-namorado. E também se relaciona muito bem com o público alvo dela (adolescente), e esses é um dos motivos que fez o álbum ser um grande sucesso.

    Dare I say Olivia had the best debut album of the last 5 years? I do. Olivia had a very strong record that was very emotionally charged. The record was pretty short but I will say that I think it was nice having a no skip record versus a 17 song album that you skip half songs. The songwriting was fantastic and obviously, there's room to grow, but this is a very strong album. HighlightsDare I say Olivia had the best debut album of the last 5 years? I do.     Es un buen álbum, realmente cada canción tiene una gran conexión con migo como con el público porque literalmente es claro que el album es dirigido mas que nada a adolescentes que pasan por una roptur, incluso podria decir que es eo mejor album del 2021, simplemente un gran debut.

    It is a very good album with good lyrics and fresh sounds. It has many influences from other albums which makes it very special and at the same time as if we had already heard it. I did not like that so many sounds worked, in songs like good for u and deja vu they are very loaded with instruments while the other songs on the album have only guitar and piano in mind.

    Numa caminhada lírica e dramática, Olivia nos leva a sentir e chorar com os sentimentos à flor da pele. Um álbum debut num nível de 5⁰ álbum da carreira! Olivia trouxe sua potência vocal e genialidade lírica, além de encrementar ainda mais com composições à mão de Taylor Swift e Jack Antonoff, demonstrando ainda, que ela está no rumo certo!     I consider this album to be "good". Nothing more and nothing less. Its not trying to be anything its not. The record is very openly emotional and simply, but effectively, written. The only problem this project faces at some points, is being too obvious. There are no big surprises (except brutal, one of the best songs imo).     Sour is the best debut of an ex act since yours truly by Grande, she clearly shows that she is above many others of her origins like Gomez and Lovato, she defenility shows your feelings on the lyrics, the kid have a brilliant future.

    Her combination of sweet melodies and bitter moods, her conversational flow, and her self-awareness are all skills many songwriters twice her age would love to call their own, and they make Sour a well-rounded emotional journey and strong debut album.

    Sour, for the most part, is a pop album that dips its toes into the alt-pop and bedroom pop subgenres, specifically spending most of its time in the latter. ... Rodrigo's lo-fi deep cuts that were made in the shadow of "Drivers License" can sound a bit repetitive. Her craft as a songwriter is especially evident on tracks like "Enough For You", "Happier", or "Hope Ur Ok", but the acoustic complexion these songs were going for could have benefitted from a bit more background noise.

    By the end of the album, Rodrigo has established her voice and showed listeners that she's not afraid to be vulnerable. SOUR is a strong debut that vividly illustrates the beautiful chaos of being inside a teenage girl's brain.
