    Wow look at her now guys, when i went to listen to the album i gave nothing, but when i listened, I heard how cohesive and mature it was, very coherent lyrics, magnificent productions, and a different style of Selena Gomez, not having to appeal to the style that is in high, Gomez did what she wanted, getting his messages through the songs, and yes "Rare" is the best album of an ex act!

    By far her best work yet, for the first time she sounds really in control, like she's telling her own experiences. The production is phenomenal and though at times repetitive it still works. There is also a lot of variety, like Cut You Off, A Sweeter Place and People You Know are all such good tracks but they all have different elements.     almost a year after the release of this album. all i have to say is that Rare remains Album Of The Year. From the lyrics to the sounds to the vocals to the emotions, Selena Gomez managed to drop a very coohesive album that you can listen to daily and not get bored of. This is an amazing example of what a pop albulm is supposed to be.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
