    My top five is six thirty, pov, my hair, safety net and shut up. I can't stop listening to it, it's so addictive. I'm so happy that she's happy and the album is full of happy and confident songs.

    Um dos melhores ou o melhor álbum que eu escutei em 2020, sem duvidas o "Positions" é um trabalho extremamente maduro e sem erros, Ariana foi muito perspicaz em todo álbum, ele contem faixas incríveis e melódicas com feats muito bem escolhidos, sem duvidas é um dos álbuns da carreira, e "Positions" veio também para comprovar que Ariana é a melhor e maior cantora dessa geração

    Positions is a perfect album, it's a wonderful work by Ariana Grande, all the songs fit perfectly in the tracklist, the set of the work is perfect, one of the best albums I've ever heard.

    I have mixed opinions about this album, because it has not as many true bangers like Sweetener and Thank u, next, and isn't as round of an album overall as Thank u, next, if you know what I mean. Ariana moved on to make RnB-like or just straight up RnB songs and it sounds awesome. The lyrics of her earlier albums caught me more, they just felt EVEN MORE personal than those on PositionsI have mixed opinions about this album, because it has not as many true bangers like Sweetener and Thank u, next, and isn't as round of an album overall as Thank u, next, if you know what I mean. Ariana moved on to make RnB-like or just straight up RnB songs and it sounds awesome. But there are not that many songs with the potential to be "all time favorites" since there are many mediocre songs.     This album is definitely her best piece of work. Her move away from pop that she has been use to for years is what makes this album so much better. Her most cohesive body of work yet. It’s kind of sad to see people hate on this album so much because she has moved from pop to r&b, a genre in which her voice excels.

    Amazing album! She's progressed so much throughout the years it's insane. This is probably one of her best projects to date. The way she incorporates her angelic voice with a more r&b sound is flawless.

My favourite songs from this album are motive, 34+35 and nasty because they are the actual bops. My least favourite song from this album is shut up because I find the lyrics of the song very annoying and bothering. I think Ariana Grande did a great job delivering a mid tempo R&B and trap-pop album and I loved her impeccable vocals so much. I loved the collaborations from this album especially The Weeknd and Doja Cat. Her last two albums, Thank U, Next and Sweetener were the masterpieces of Ariana Grande’s music career.… Expand

    Cohesive album, a completely different sound, a Pop-Trap, Soul/R&B but smooth and completely cohesive. Smooth vocals and without being overly screaming. Although Ariana Grande is in her comfort zone, it is a well-built album with layers of orchestra and simply adding notes from Wistle de Grande.

Unlike “Thank U, Next”, she seems genuinely happy and I love that. In my opinion, “pov” and “my hair” are standout tracks but “obvious” and “west side” have really grown on me.     Um dos melhores álbuns e mais maduro da Ari, aqui ela se reinventa de forma polida maestral diferente de TUN, os violinos e toda as orquestras misturada com trap e o tom do R&B mostra o quanto ela é evoluída e se arrisca na música. As parcerias de longe são as melhores faixas do álbum.

Positions não é algo que se leva muito a sério, obvio que é inegável a habilidade vocal da Ariana, mas um álbum não é feito só disso, musicas tão genéricas e entediantes pra uma cantora tão boa. Mas há algumas que se salvam e até me divertem, especialmente as colaborações com Doja Cat e Megan Thee Stalion. The Weeknd e Ty Dolla foram desperdiçados no álbum. Devia ter chamado a Gaga pra alguma coisa mas ela ia recusar porque é preguiçosa então não vou te cobrar isso. Essa foi a pior critica que já escrevi na minha vida e mereço ser xingado pelas coisas que escrevi aqui.… Expand

    It is not a bad album by the overall standards of pop music, but for Ariana it is poor piece of work, especially after Thank you, next. Some songs are great, they start growing on you, but some are just not it. I hope Ariana will come up with something better than this next time

    Positions es un álbum que me funciona como un todo, hay una correlación, y es armónico. Para ser su primera disco donde el R&B es el sonido principal está bien, está aprendiendo de este género (supongo). Pero me falla al momento de ver las canciones individualmente, no son recordables ni memorables.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    Grande laid bare may well be seen as a stopgap in her canon, using taboo to checkmate her past trauma, but it does pull off the rare feat of at least sounding effortless.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
