Jan 22, 2020One of his best projects in years, dark and moody befitting the title of the album. Too early to say but might be up there with his big 3 for me. Feels like a more well rounded project than kamikaze(which I loved) and certainly better than revival or MMLP2(a record I did like as well).

Eminem’s penmanship is the sharpest it’s been in a long time, it’s like he’s never lost a step on this album. Reconnecting with Dr. Dre is the icing on the cake; the perfect marriage for song quality (which has been spotty at times post-comeback.)

Also in this album he turned to a little modern hip hop by adding catchy hooks and flow that keep the new kids stuck to it. So 10/10

Darkness has a huge meaning and is one of the best story telling songs Eminem has ever done (up there with Stan, Bad Guy, Arose, etc.)! Godzilla is very catchy and is the albums most popular song.
