    Weirdly underrated. LFL is an album created for the fans, so it talks about general meaning and topics, not necessarily Lana's life. Which for some, made the album less enjoyable, for me, made it interesting. I think her writing really goes hard on this, and the references to herself and other on this one really payoff.

    Probably her worst album. I dont hate it, i just wouldnt lisent to this again. It feels so much like if she mixed 200 styles put it in a randomized blender and put it out. I like some songs but most of the songs just feel not right.

    That's the album that made me stop listening Lana for a few years. The lyrics are full of clichés she already explored to the maximum and the production is really boring and repetitive. Her low point here.

    Songs like “Cherry” and “When the world was at war we kept dancing” are some of the best she’s ever made, but it gets lost towards the end but it picks back up when you get to the song “Heroin”. Overall a fun listen.

    Some people just don't understand Lust for Life. It's an art and pushes you to keep living, keep loving, and keep trying. It reflects the bitterness and contentment of life and that's what getting to experience life feels like... you feel a craving, desire, will, and lust for life.

She finally reunited with some of her friends making this the first record to have collaborations (took a while). And damn, she came up with everything: The Weeknd, A$ap Rocky, Playboi Carti, Stevie Nick and Sean Ono Lennon. (She even dragged G-Easy in live concerts and we love her for that.)
    Another thing to highlight is the notable switch in the topics. This time, she didn't shut her mouth about her politic opinions, speaking up in various songs about the decaying state of America, feminism, climate change and the horribles of war. She really digs out into social problems which are still very relevant 'till this day. The other essential change is inside of her, trying now to approach to the kind of happiness everyone looks up for. And here, she portraits the moment she really decides to start pursuing it and do the effort to make a change for life. No more blackness, From today, into the blueness.

    For the most part a light and fun record to listen to, specially because the sound leans more towards pop. But in the other half, it contains very important and strong lyrics that should be read carefully what she's saying.    … Expand

It's at it's best when Lana is at her most adventurous such as the tragic hip hop of "groupie love ",dinister depths of "Cherry" or the narrative epics "heroine", "tomorrow never came"&"Woodstock :Coachella in my mind". Those songs feel exciting and fresh. The title track is a cool and sultry but "Loves" motown adjacent crooningAt 72 minutes this record is meandering and inconsistent.     Honestly, this is my least favorite Lana Del Rey album. The title track was beautiful, her collab with Abel (The Weeknd) is her most beautiful collaboration yet. White mustang is a song, I felt like I've been looking for in my whole life.

    Gosto muito das músicas desse álbum, porém o álbum como um todo, nem tanto. Acho que ele se perde entre tantos gêneros. Mesmo assim, a Lana consegue cumprir a proposta de causar desejo pela vida, com as músicas um pouco mais esperançosas e flertando com a redenção. Além disso, a vida não é uma só, então esse álbum deveria mesmo ter muitos gêneros.

For a 16-track album, Lust for Life can drag out that little too much with songs that are on for too long and songs with such long titles, that it's work to even name your favourite song. Bloated and dull at times, Lana Del Rey manages to make some songs standout, while some barely come into mind when you're asked about a specific song. Imagine you get asked what "White Mustang" is, you know instantly because of the lyrics and its rhythm and deepness. However, imagine if you are asked about "Heroin", you'd probably be like, "well it's the closing track", and that's all you say. Get what I mean?… Expand

    This album has to be one of my favourite all time albums. Despite that, I truly understand why some may have mixed feelings about it. The albums goes through a variety of sounds (which many don't like) and that's why it attracts me more than other albums. I'd have to say the best songs on this album is "heroin", "white Mustang" and "get free".

Switching to a happier life with living colors rather than dwelling from the black and white dramatic Honeymoon, Lust for Life still suffers from similer issues. It’s, again, rather empty despite a promising concept. The songs are stretched out, focusing more on the theatrics rather than the effects on the listeners with little-to-no results. Lana isn’t at her worst, with a few tracks (Love, Lust for Life, Summer Bummer, Get Free) worth the effort, but it’s far from a good work.… Expand

    Every track on the album deserves the title of "Best Track of the Year". Smartly built concept, visual, album trailer. Lana's voice in the songs magically enchants, envelops in her gentle embrace, brings you to a state of euphoria. 2017 is definitely the year of Lana Del Rey.

    That album was made for fans as a present for support and love ! So we should treat it us a present and gift from a heart,hippie aesthetic,hip-hop influence,love messages,cinematic soundtrack it’s just magic!

    Add to that the trailing drag can be said to be very unworthy.
    But depending on how you use it, it can be a little boring to listen to,

    It is totally Lana's most accessible album. A great mix of Pop and R&B with elements of 70's Folk Rock, with Del Rey in his best vocal and lyrical performance. "Lust for Life" is the turning point of Lana Del Rey 's work, a bold and well executed step in the works that came in sequence.

    Lust for life is Lana’s 5th album. It is beautiful. Definitely recommend a listen. White mustang is just brilliant. One of my favourites from Lana. Get Free is my favourite from the album.

    Depois de um álbum completamente destoante de sua carreira, Honeymoon, Lana trouxe um álbum mais pop, com mais batidas, e também mais político. Sua estética e sonoridade mais alegre preencheu um pedaço que faltava em sua discografia, além de ser o primeiro a trazer feats.

    This is still very much the great Lana del Rey, but it feels a little more human, and a little more average. If she had gotten rid of Coachella, In My Feelings and Heroin it would've been a great project, but those songs are just unbearably bad. Anyways, most of the songs are extremely pleasant to hear. The sonic equivalent of going to a SPA.

    Though "Born to Die" is Lana Del Rey's most well-known album, "Lust for Life" is sonically her most mainstream. As her first album with featured collaborations, Lana dives headfirst into the trap and hip-hop sounds of the mid-to-late 2010s while still sticking to her alternative pop/rock roots with more folksy collaborations. The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, and A$AP Rocky all show up in the album's aggressive first half as Lana navigates revenge and the mysteries of both new and lost loves. By the halfway point, the album mixes these sounds with the more traditional elements that Lana fans are truly familiar with: strings, echoing drums, and pianos (and collaborations with Stevie Nicks and Sean Lennon). Lana's vocals are strong throughout this entire project, and she even experiments on certain tracks, sometimes successful ("Cherry"), sometimes to mixed results ("In My Feelings").     This is her third best album. This album is hip-hop inspired and also Lust for Life is an accomplished piece of art, an antidote to the banal tunes permeating the charts and one of the best albums that released in 2017 so far.

    lust for life is such an amazing album, it literally blew me away on my first listen. personally i believe that this album is her second best after nfr. the songs are just so unbelievably beautiful. a lot of the songs on this album really mean a lot to me as well, i adore this album so much. my top 3 songs include summer bummer, 13 beaches, and when the world was at war we kept dancing.

Even though this album is 72 minutes long, when you listen in full it doesn't feel like it's going on for 72 minutes, which I absolutely love about albums, when they have great pacing.     Álbum perfeito do início ao fim. O primeiro álbum com parcerias dela, parecerias tais que posso dizer que ficaram perfeitas. A cada faixa você sente exatamente o medo que o mundo vem sentindo com essas mudanças sem governamentais como climáticas. Lana não teve medo de expor sua opinião sendo assim uma artista corajosa e segura de sim. Se eu pudesse dar nota 1000 a esse álbum eu daria

    lust for life é de longe um dos melhores álbuns de Lana Del Rey, um álbum politizado e com temas como o feminismo, um álbum maduro e inteligente, onde as musicas conversam entre si, daria nota 1000 se possível.

    My favorite Lana's album, their is a new Lana Del Rey in this album, exploring new way to do music like she does. All the songs have deep meanings. A real great work have been done on this album. The songs express really something new and this feeling is a great thing

    Lana is being herself, not faking it. She dove into the music industry where it’s full of predictability and monotony, but her boldness and persistence made the industry more diverse and encouraging for the young generation to create something without self-questioning or thinking too much about whether they should fit in the majority.

    The optimism of Lust For Life is a pleasant surprise, though the album is still painted in the same shades as Del Rey’s previous releases. At times it’s some of her best material, but it seems like a record best experienced in pieces than as a proper whole.
