Hey clown! Jester, you have done it again. Constantly raising the bar for the circus and doing it foolishly. This is for the annoying Taylor stans who wanted to screw NFR score.

Honestly this album is garbage and Taylor is a has been. She writes about falling in love the same way she always has which is now irrelevant since she’s so old now. #canceled

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Unfortunately, Taylor Swift has once again under delivered. Ever since red, Taylor has been really taking a hit when it comes to the fact that she has not grown as an artist or matured in her music or artisty. She feels even more clueless than the 16 year old girl she started off as with self titled. I genuinely did not enjoy a single track off of this album besides "you need to calm down" and that was only because of the hook. It also didn't help that Taylor was trying to "get the gay vote" with this album. Them there are the ridiculous actions of her fans. They are so utterly childish and this album goes to show the kind of audience she is pandering to. Taylor Swift is a strong, intelligent woman with great writing skills and she simply has not prooven this to the public in a long time but people choose to eat it up. I really hope that Taylor will start to grow as an artist again rather than the decline of the last couple of albums. It didn't help that she pumped this album out to push reputation under the rug, an album that very much failed to meet my expectations. The old Taylor is definitely dead and it seems it is for the worst. Expand

What a wonderful album Lover is! Every song is magic in its own way and while ME is not my personal favorite the rest of the songs definitely make up for it.

Taylor opened her heart with the world in this record in a way that she hasn't done before. It's well written-produced-recorded. It's surely one of her best albums and the old Taylor is more alive than ever.

This is a solid album. It has some upbeat pop earworms as well as some slower balads and is a rollercoaster of emotions. Probably one of her best albums.

Lover is Taylor Swift’s finest artistic hour since 2012’s Red, and probably her second-best overall (again, behind her crossover masterpiece). Vocally refreshing, consistent in lyrical quality, sonically cohesive, and deftly produced, Lover is the closest pop music could get to art in this decade of musical decline.

THE ALBUM OF YEAR!!!! Hands down to queen Taylor she proves again that is one of the best songwriters of this era. Any song of this album has something special in it, production-wise or lyrics, love the way Taylor put out a mature thinking as a distinctive flag for the album with a message of hope and care for the feelings that we as humans feel everyday.

Taylor can prove once again that her sweet and affectionate side as a singer is fallible and it takes a hollow heart to fill with her whirlwind of emotions that we have seen from the Lover's birth to her tenderest night with him. The album shows unparalleled ability and sound, an album worth capturing the artist's emotions. Expand

It’s an album that screams out for an editor, but when it hits the right notes, it demonstrates just why Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Ultimately, Lover is overstuffed and meandering, but serves as a positive reprieve from her past struggles in the public eye, and represents an artist at the peak of her creativity, power, and—one hopes—continued romantic bliss.

Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
