    Two words: BORING and OVERHYPED
    Blackpink is one of those groups that really only has their company's marketing to back them up. All members are extremely mediocre, their music is tasteless and lyrics are lazy, they do not even try to form any special connection with their fans, just starve them of music so they'll eat up whatever trash they put out once in a blue moon

    el ruido de la trompetas de KTL es irritante. kick it es una canción que carece de composición siendo muy sosa. Hope Not es decente, pero al estar un album tan malo no destaca, al contrario, solo se hunde con el resto porque las fans de estas chicas solo quieren musica sin sentido que grite "girls power" pero que todo detrás de las cámaras sea hecho por un tío obeso racista.     Album stupendo, pieno di canzoni forti e grinta. Hope Not dà quella tranquillità che serve in ogni album e kill this love fa scatenare chiunque quando parte, album ben bilanciato e kick it una delle loro migliori canzoni. Complimenti Blackpink!

    It sound repetitive. It's a piece of K-pop very sweet and the songs make you dance. The songs are so repetitive but only in the good side. This is not an album who I listen one more time but... It feels Okay.

    It was a feeble effort to make a album and yet it wasn't even a full one. Dated songs that aged horribly. Something needs to change with their producer, because most of these songs are so repetitive and boring.

    BLACKPINK shows their diversity and confidence with this project. Its a very laid back yet fun album. They bring back the familiar vibrant yg production with edm and trap inspired instrumentals, but with a an extra focus on their vocal abilities.
    And the bonus track "Ddu-du-ddu-du remix" is an amazing concert-ready mix of their most popular song. Can't wait for the full album!

    The Coachella performance really showcased how enjoyable this Extended Play could be.
    Hopefully the full studio album comes this year for the next step in BLACKPINK's growth.

    This EP starts off with Kill This Love, a powerful anthem like song. DKWTD and Hope Not are slower songs that showcase their vocals best. Kick It is an upbeat song that shows BLACKPINK’s tough and fun side. Despite the fact that this mini album only has 4 songs (I’m not counting DDDD remix), all the songs are enjoyable and unskippable.

Even the synchronizing of the vocalists is just horrible. When putting it on pause, it’s the best part of the mini album. The way its presence hunts your playlist no one should dare to do that themselves. The only thing good about the songs is the endings. You’ve reached the state of no return after wasting your full 35 minutes to go through the songs. In comparison to Loona the girl group, this is too much of a reach into the western music market. Apesar das críticas que a faixa-título "Kill this Love" seja uma tentativa apressada de lidar com o hit DDDD, não vejo muita semelhança entre eles, talvez apenas a distribuição das linhas, mas a achei facilmente enjoativa, e o refrão não muito cativante, porém o resto do álbum foi muito interessante, "Don't Know What toUm mini muito bem produzido e acredito que tenha sido o melhor delas. It reflects the fresh and young vibe of BLACKPINK; the sound and rhythms from the non singles have an aesthetic feeling, if a calm and beautiful afternoon in the city could have a sound, it would sound like Kick It and Don't Know What to Do. Also Hope Not is a really beautiful and touching ballad, I loveEvery time I listen to this mini album I just feel really happy and full of energy. KTL e Kick It rappresentano il nero: due track potenti, una accompagnata da tamburi e trombe, l'altra da influenze trap ed hip-hop, nelle quali mostrano un lato di sé più agguerrito.Le BLACKPINK ritornano nel 2019, finalmente, con un nuovo EP. Quattro sono le canzoni, come il numero dei membri del gruppo, che compongono l'album: esse mettono in luce i loro due colori, il rosa e il nero.     this ep has an edm style that can perfectly be put on at a party and dance until dawn to end with a ballad like hope not while holding your girlfriend's hand

    the same song all over again. they wait one year to come up with a recycled version of ddu-du (and a remix of the said song) and a couple of boring non memorable songs. forgettable and generic. for all that talk of them being a revolution i'd expect more versatility. overwhelmingly lackluster and the lyrics are absolutely horrible. they have potential, i wanna see them live up to it

    On their US debut, BLACKPINK offers nothing new musically. Due to the hype, I enjoyed this EP a lot at the time of its release and would have given it an 8 or 9 back then. As time passed, I realized how dated it is musically. The Coachella performance probably did make this extended play more enjoyable, though. As catchy as the title track is, it's not immune to aging and probably neededOn their US debut, BLACKPINK offers nothing new musically. Due to the hype, I enjoyed this EP a lot at the time of its release and would have given it an 8 or 9 back then. As time passed, I realized how dated it is musically. The Coachella performance probably did make this extended play more enjoyable, though. As catchy as the title track is, it's not immune to aging and probably needed one last chorus. "Don't Know What to Do" is another dated EDM offering, although their vocals manage to bring some life to it. "Kick It" might sound like another "Really", but it's probably the only track that gives us something slightly different here, with Lisa getting more singing parts than usual. However, it keeps the fast rap BLACKPINK has in almost every song. Initially, the song might not have a great impact on the listener but once you discover the background vocals, the vocal chops and such, it's quite refreshing. "Hope Not" on the other hand is a rework of "Stay", and not an intriguing one.… Expand

    The group became popular, with stunning visuals and clips. However, musically they still sound the same as usual. Chorus in the beginning, simple musical excerpt, fast progression and the same return of the chorus of the beginning of the song. And that extends to all the other tracks on the album ... We want to see better content on upcoming albums!

    BLACKPINK's new EP lacks the spark the group has. The main song seems a rushed trying to cope with the success of Ddu Du Ddu Du, the trumpets are too much and sometimes the beat lacks consistency. The remix of DDDD is pointless they could have released a new song. Kick it is a nice Kpop song with lots of English and has a catchy chorus that could break in the American Industry.     Though BLACKPINK can sing and dance with precision, the production of Kill This Love is also weirdly dated, like it was crafted earlier in the decade and then forgotten in a time capsule for five years.
