MarianneWMay 9, 2006I have listened to the album many times now and you find something new every time. The lyrics are fantastic and the melodies just grows. The instrumentations are the best ever of his albums. It shows he has paid much effort in these songs.

KathrynSDec 14, 2005A more adult Robbie shines through in this brilliant album. It is mature, and equals past Robbie albums. Please Don't Die is my pesonal favourite. Robbie is growing up, and so is his music. It's a great album - if you don't like it on first listening to it, give it another few tries, and listen to the lyrics.

StephanieEDec 14, 2005THis is the greatest album ever. I have never bought a Robbie Williams album before, and I will NEVER regret buying this one.. I love it. It's a real artistic album. Great songs!

SandraQJan 16, 2006Always liked his hits, never bought, recently rec'd "Intensive Care" from a wonderful friend of mine (Thanks, Steffen! XOXO) and LOVE it! Robbie can deliver!

NickeyBNov 29, 2005I've watch the boy deliver, and he keeps on delivering. He is brilliant and the lyrics, full of heart & soul. Well done Rob!

JamieMNov 3, 2005Robbie Williams is an idiot and this album is TERRIBLE! Tripping is most probably the worst song recorded this decade. Older stuff is good. But this guy it totally stuck in the 80's.

killaBenJan 9, 2006I'm not sure about this album. Although I think Rob's music is classy, I'd like to hear some more experimental stuff. High points are the bridge of 'Please don't die' and the song, 'My gay friend'. I'm sure this album would sound cool after you tax one, though. There is a wounderfully subtle production value.

jasonwNov 8, 2005If you liked Robbie in the beginning, this could be the one to bring you back after the appalling Escapology. The tunes take a few spins to sink in, but they reveal themselves in deeper ways than past efforts. He may not be as cheeky, but he's more reflective and shows personal growth. This CD doesn't deserve a 10, but it definitely isn't below a 6 either.

WardNov 17, 2005Definetly a more mature album. Takes a few listens to get into, but the more you hear it the better it gets.

Apr 26, 2016Really cheesy songs!, "Make Me Pure" is the only song I find really relaxing. This album by Robbie Williams is really quite good! He does really great music!
-
Apr 3, 2020J. Bieber albums have almost the same score, something’s not good...is the world crazy? Robbie’s albums are gold compared to “others”.
-
Jul 24, 2020One of Robbie's best albums. The opening line is iconic and the last song is the perfect end. Robbie never disappoints.
-
MojoHere, he is still the anthem addict of old, but there are softer, subtler electronic textures and a real sense of reflection. [Nov 2005, p.112]

It's Robbie The Rogue's least immediate album and needs several listens to get to grips with, but Intensive Care feels like Robbie has allowed himself freedom of expression, even if he doesn't always know how best to use it.
-
Lyrically the record is less cringe inducing than 'Escapology' but Robbie has been let off the leash for a while in this respect, and while sometimes he can be funny, he needs people to tell him when he's being trite and just downright embarrassing.
