    Another classic album from Tyler! The production is amazing and his new style is getting even more into singing instead of rapping. Although his singing voice isn't exactly great it has charm and the songs are great and fit well with it.

    Tyler at his very best, haven't stopped bumping it. It gives me a sense of happiness and sadness that mixes together so well, it leaves transcended into another worldly state. It's one of those albums that brings out my emotion just from listening to it.

    This is the first album I've heard where not a single track sounds poor or out of place. This album is a whole new listeners experience I encourage anyone interested to try out. Masterpiece.

    Musical masterpiece, beautiful expansion on all of his previous works. The album flows perfectly and none of his collaborators overtake the spotlight. This'll be on repeat all year, undoubtedly the best record to come out so far in 2019, maybe even all decade.

    I can’t put this album down. It’s likeTyler, Kanye, Frank Ocean and Kid Cudi had a baby. Even the tracks that don’t impress me as much like Running Out of Time are still 7-8 out of 10. And the songs I dig are beyond measure. Stunning album

    Tyler the Creator's IGOR, a follow up to 2017's Grammy-nominated Flower Boy, is an oddly beautiful masterpiece, full of beautiful instrumentals and vocals, mixing multiple genres to create something completely unique, the likes of which I have never heard before. The opening track, IGOR'S Theme, is an oddly beautiful mix of synth, drums, bass, and electric guitar, giving the listener anTyler the Creator's IGOR, a follow up to 2017's Grammy-nominated Flower Boy, is an oddly beautiful masterpiece, full of beautiful instrumentals and vocals, mixing multiple genres to create something completely unique, the likes of which I have never heard before. The opening track, IGOR'S Theme, is an oddly beautiful mix of synth, drums, bass, and electric guitar, giving the listener an insight into the remainder of the album. Several songs stood out to me specifically, including EARFQUAKE, RUNNING OUT OF TIME, and GONE GONE/ THANK YOU. This album is not perfect, however, and some flaws include the heavy bass and synth sometimes drowning out the vocals, and the overall lack of vocal performance from Tyler, and while there are some amazing bars and vocals, they are not as numerous as in Flower Boy. However, Tyler did state in an official post that this would not be a rap album, so take that as you will. Overall, compared to Flower Boy, this is a much more experimental album, and will not work for some people, but it sure did for me. If you have not listened to IGOR yet, please give it a listen as it will be 100% worth your time.… Expand

    There's nothing about this project that I personally dislike. Not only is every track on here a banger and a half, but the project as a whole is experimental as all hell. There are few albums on the market that sound remotely similar to this in any way.

    Tyler, The Creator's IGOR is a breakup sound for him, straying back from his previously rap dominated work. The project only features scarce rap parts scattered over the course of it. The album's opener is a gritty mash of vocals, synthesizers & drums, clashing together beautifully to create an perfect beginning to the story of Igor that's underlining the album.     One of the most beautifully produced albums in recent memory. The instrumentals on every track are gorgeous and demonstrate Tyler's unique musical talent by producing sounds unlike any we have heard before. He mixes in a series of fantastic features and choruses that layer perfectly with the instrumentals and highlight what this album is about: the production.

    I expected IGOR to be a lazy cherry bomb adaptation. I got a perfect album with catchy lyrics, great instrumentals and a new theme to Tyler more iconic than flower boy and goblin combined. It is fair to say Tyler did it again. This is his best album

    From the start, Tyler fascinated me with his never ending evolution as an artist and as a person.
    In this album Tyler feels like he finally matured as an artist and also his departure from the style he has established is very brave and admirable.

    I like that everyone can notice Tyler's evolution through the time. And this is a great example. He told us not to expect a rap album or any album at all. And the result is great. The production in this is beautiful and it is a nice experience to listen to it calmly. There are songs to relax, to play in the car, I personally loved this album.

He through out the aggressive and obscene raps (besides maybe on "What's Good") and went full Flower Boy on Igor. With a combination of amazingly chosen samples and his own fantastically crafted production skills he manipulates his voice in outstanding fashion. Every song is focused on something, even ifTyler has come a long way since his "Yonkers" days and ever from his Cherry Bomb days. He sings, he croons, he pitches his voice, he does everything right here. He makes you dance even if you're the one at the party moping around. Stop lying, you tapped your feet along to "I Think".     This album walks the line of ugliness and beauty. Beauty comes on top. This album doesn't even feel like a rap album, in the classical sense. It is truly something different from a rap artist. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to be taken on a trip of interest/confusion. Overall, I absolutely love this album.     The album is truly Tyler’s most emotional and heartfelt piece of work. The production is Kanye West level quality and during the times when Tyler raps or sings or whatever he wants to do, its amazing. The album reminds me off his previous song “Enjoy right now, today” on steroids. Truly perfect.

    Up until this point, I was never a huge Tyler, the Creator fan. But this album. Mannnnnnn. It hits at such a new and unique level sonically, thematically, and lyrically. On first listen I was immediately pulled in, not wanting to stop until I had listened through the whole album 3 times over. I loved it all the way through and am extremely impressed by how many layers each song has. ThereUp until this point, I was never a huge Tyler, the Creator fan. But this album. Mannnnnnn.     This is literally my first week listening to Tyler, and this album is a masterpiece.
    The synth of his music is absolutely insane, and the tracks are supernatural.
    This album achieved the prime of Flower Boy, and maybe, this is the best production of Tyler ever made.
    Listen to this, you won't regret.

    Hes made one of the best albums ever. The trip this thing takes you on will bring you to tears and fill you with joy. Transitions between songs are seamless and the story is told perfectly in a quick 45 minutes.

    I know it’s gonna take more than a few listens to form a final and just opinion about a new album but damn, IGOR blew me away. I think this is an improvement over Flower Boy (which before may 17th, I didn’t even know was possible to achieve); the production is fantastic, loved the samples (was suprised to hear the ‘Bound’ sample used again, also used by Kanye for Bound 2), great guestI know it’s gonna take more than a few listens to form a final and just opinion about a new album but damn, IGOR blew me away. I think this is an improvement over Flower Boy (which before may 17th, I didn’t even know was possible to achieve); the production is fantastic, loved the samples (was suprised to hear the ‘Bound’ sample used again, also used by Kanye for Bound 2), great guest appearances (I did not know I was a Playboi Carti fan, but found out after hearing EARFQUAKE) and man.. the musicality: from these soundtrack-like bridges to choruses which sound like they should have been classics by now but for some reason hadn’t been invented yet (just listen to GONE, GONE / THANK YOU). The album, just like Flower Boy, has a very focused and central theme, which I won’t spoil. Only thing for me to do now, is to hope that my opinion stays the same, even after my 100th listen.… Expand

    This is one of the most exciting albums of recent years. Superb production, interesting and different song structures. Gets better after each listen and as a full body of work it flows and tells a story. Very refreshing in an era filled with average music and predictability.

    You know, this album is just so damn beautiful. Whether it comes through the production or some of the lyricism (although his best is probably on Flower Boy), it still keeps my interest no matter what. I used to not like Tyler, The Creator's music during his Odd Future days until Flower Boy came along. Thank God he is still continuing his singing path. This is so far Album of The Year.

    One of tyler’s best work and is something true to himself and something he just wants to make. Really good sonically and the album just flows together so well. Such as the bridge on I Think and the soul and N.E.R.D influences sound. Everything about this album is just so well put together and just so replayble. To the melodies and soul sound that it gives off. Tyler pls marry me.

    If you would've told me in 2011 the same person who made Goblin is going to make IGOR I would've laughed at you so hard. His creative potential has expanded and I can't wait to see his works in the future. The transitions, beats and overall production is mind-blowing and all the collabs make it even better.

    I loved IGOR front to back, it might sound crazy but there were legit moments during the album where I was getting emotional. There’s little in the way of Tyler rap style ( which explain a lot of the throw away rap tracks from a few months ago ) but this album was beautiful. It was incredible in ways that I was not expecting. Production wise it's absolutely gorgeous; Tyler combined the beautiful harmonies of 'flower boy' and the raw distorted beats of 'cherry bomb in an overall groovy danceable arrangements. It is super catchy yet experimental and layerd. the songs flow beautifuly from one to the other and the story line is consistent and captivating. HisIGOR is a masterful album in every sense of the word.     One of the greatest albums of the year, in fact it might just be the album of the year judging by how the year is going. It’s Tyler at the peak of his creativity and artistry, he shows he does not need to make another Flower Boy for another good album.

After the revelations of ‘Flower Boy,’ ‘IGOR’ takes the ideas of love and sexuality and plunges deep into them, exploring a narrative of love, lust, jealousy, loss and finally acceptance. The features, aside from Playboy Carti on ‘EARFQUAKE,’ are all placed subtly and add to the musical landscape rather than distract from it and the sonic aesthetic created by Tyler is a perfect blending of the lo-fi indie stylings of ‘Flower Boy’ and the brash, abrasive and distorted synth-bass driven hip-hop of early Tyler works. ‘IGOR’ contains Tyler at his most vulnerable throughout the track list; particularly on the albums emotional climax ‘NEW MAGIC WAND,’ where Tyler seemingly flies into a fit of rage which is perfectly reflected by the distorted vocals, heavy bass and stuttering drums. One could criticise Tyler’s at time off-key singing during the record, however I feel that it more adds to the honesty and vulnerability that he is exhibiting here as he wears his heart truly on his sleeves. This is the evolution that truly brings fans of Tyler and critics together in agreement of the album’s excellence.… Expand

    Tyler's most artistic work yet. I personally really resonated with his concept and the aesthetic is perfectly executed. All songs have there spot and contribute to the album. Tyler the Creator combined his owen more modern style and took inspiration from 80's pop music and made it work with his. Production, features, concept, structure, idea this album has it all.

The lyricism is vivid, and filled with deep commentary and a complex yet easy to follow story. The production is rich, and Tyler has done it all himself, being the first chart topping rap album to do so.This album caught me off guard.     Probably my favourite Tyler album to date. The production is incredible and innovative and the album tells Tyler's breakup story very well. Not one bad song on it and overall a very consistent, cohesive album. Def worth a 10/10.

    Igor is a masterpiece and probably my favorite album ever made. The album is total synth porn, the cords are beautiful and the flow and pacing of the album is great. Tyler's bars on the album are wonderful and really show off some good word play. His total genius is shown through out the experimental production. This is his best album to date and i cant be more excited for his next work.

    This has to be Tyler's best work of art. Not downplaying Flower Boy whatsoever, but the production of this is amazing. Dives in to the rarity of classic album storytelling and the beautiful yet dangerous timeline of toxic infatuation. Easy 10, my favorite album ever.

    This is Tyler's best album in every way. The production is great. The pitch-shifted vocals are great. And the few features that are on here are also, great. There is not a single bad song on this album and I can't wait to see if he tops it with his next release. Best songs are "EARFQUAKE", "I THINK", "NEW MAGIC WAND", "PUPPET", and "WHAT'S GOOD".

    It’s an intriguing album with few dips (only Kanye’s verse on Puppet sounds rather phoned in and lacklustre), and it adds up to Tyler, The Creator’s best work to date. He may not be threatening Western civilization anymore, but he is creating something far more interesting.
