May 24, 2019It's a usual project including mixes of alternative R&B, neo-soul, trap and rap. It flawed too. It's not a typical Tyler, the Creator's style, since it's a R&B dominant rather than a rap one. Other than that, it's wacky (in the best way), excitable, and surprisingly addicting. This project shows how prominent Tyler can prove that he can sing.

May 17, 2019Although this is not a full rap album, this is Tyler's musically best album. So diverse and experimental. Gone, Gone/Thank You is my favorite song.
-
May 18, 2019Conceptually, this is Tyler's best album yet. Sonically, this is Tyler's best album yet.
Fans of his rapping may not enjoy the lack of rapping throughout - but if you can get past that then this album will be an amazing listen. -
May 19, 2019First Tyler album that I enjoyed front to back. IGOR is a monolith project, cohesive with its production, engaging and immersing with its atmosphere, reminds me of Gambino's "Awaken my love" in terms of musicality and atypical sound compared to previous artist's works.

-
May 18, 2019I expected IGOR to be a lazy cherry bomb adaptation. I got a perfect album with catchy lyrics, great instrumentals and a new theme to Tyler more iconic than flower boy and goblin combined. It is fair to say Tyler did it again. This is his best album

May 18, 2019Tyler is at a point in his career where he can make purposely awkward music sound professional and polished. This also marks the third release from the OFWGKTA camp to successfully embrace the experiential. Though not completely air-tight, "Igor" offers an exciting new direction for Tyler. One to build upon on upcoming releases.

May 17, 2019The album is truly Tyler’s most emotional and heartfelt piece of work. The production is Kanye West level quality and during the times when Tyler raps or sings or whatever he wants to do, its amazing. The album reminds me off his previous song “Enjoy right now, today” on steroids. Truly perfect.
-
May 18, 2019This is literally my first week listening to Tyler, and this album is a masterpiece.
The synth of his music is absolutely insane, and the tracks are supernatural.
This album achieved the prime of Flower Boy, and maybe, this is the best production of Tyler ever made.
Listen to this, you won't regret. -
May 19, 2019That's 100 because tyler made something that he have never made before and that's beautiful. Best album of his career.
-
May 19, 2019THIS IS THE ALBUM OF THE MILLENIUM ASÍ ES TYLER PATRON DE TU FAV ALBUM DWL AÑO OBRA DE ARTE
-
May 20, 2019This album made me cry multiple times and I’m not ashamed to say that. Long live IGOR
-
May 21, 2019Wow, what an album that Tyler, the Creator put together. This Album is incredible from start to finish. An absolute masterpiece.
-
May 17, 2019Damn this **** get better with each listen, im still thinking but this maybe surpass flower boy as my favorite tyler album.
-
May 18, 2019It is just an amazing piece of art. It is different to any other Tyler album though.
-
May 18, 2019This album is a sound journey, the production is amazing in so many ways man... comparing this album with fb doesn't make any sense because both have different proposals
-
May 18, 2019Tyler found the perfect balance between different music genres and rap. As of 18/05/2019 the best album this year for sure.
-

-
May 19, 2019You know, this album is just so damn beautiful. Whether it comes through the production or some of the lyricism (although his best is probably on Flower Boy), it still keeps my interest no matter what. I used to not like Tyler, The Creator's music during his Odd Future days until Flower Boy came along. Thank God he is still continuing his singing path. This is so far Album of The Year.
-
May 19, 2019Beautiful album, there are a couple of songs that sounds too pop and mellow for me but in general the production is soo good, the concept feels complete, i will listen to this for a while.
-

-
May 19, 2019One of tyler’s best work and is something true to himself and something he just wants to make. Really good sonically and the album just flows together so well. Such as the bridge on I Think and the soul and N.E.R.D influences sound. Everything about this album is just so well put together and just so replayble. To the melodies and soul sound that it gives off. Tyler pls marry me.

-
May 20, 2019Full of new sounds that really grab you into the songs I absolutely love this album.
The production could not be better in my opinion. -
May 18, 2019One word:
PHENOMENAL
................................................................... -
May 22, 2019Tyler might be the most entertaining artist of this generation, and IGOR just seeps with personality, HIS personality.
-
May 19, 2019Very cohesive production. I would liken it to Neptunes production with a mix of Kanye MBDTF. Very poignant messages as well. If you haven’t given it a listen I would highly recommend you do. I expect a lot of Grammy nods for the project and the song “EARFQUAKE” in particular.
-
May 25, 2019When you listen new Magic Wand, what do you feel? Igor is a piece of art.Tyler's lyrics tell how I really feel in this moment...
-

-
May 18, 2019From the start, Tyler fascinated me with his never ending evolution as an artist and as a person.
In this album Tyler feels like he finally matured as an artist and also his departure from the style he has established is very brave and admirable. -
May 27, 2019Current AOTY. Compelling stories with memorable songwriting and A+++ production with a futuristic but also vintage sound. What more could you ask for?
-
May 18, 2019
-
May 17, 2019Sonically, this album breaks ground, balancing Tyler’s poppiest tendencies with his noisiest tendencies to create a breakup album for the ages.
-
May 18, 2019
-
May 23, 2019Tyler, The Creator releases one of the best albums of the year, with heartfelt lyrics and 10/10 production describing the effects of a catastrophic breakup.
-
May 18, 2019Absolutely masterclass production and aesthetic. It's Tyler musical peak. Enjoy.

May 19, 2019If you would've told me in 2011 the same person who made Goblin is going to make IGOR I would've laughed at you so hard. His creative potential has expanded and I can't wait to see his works in the future. The transitions, beats and overall production is mind-blowing and all the collabs make it even better.

May 21, 2019This album is very sweet very calming and just very nice in general. Everything about it i love. Its just great definitely already replayed it over 30 times. The only reason it gets a (9) is that i were to hoped for more rapping from tyler in his own voice as well. His changes from high don’t however ruin the experience. Its just that tyler has a nice voice.
-
May 22, 2019One of his better albums instrumentally. Although I feel like flower boy was more cohesive and that flower boy is better, I still enjoyed this album. Brilliant direction and concept. Always nice to see a side Tyler never exposed fuly before: Tyler in love.

May 23, 2019Tyler has come a long way from his days of Bastard and Goblin by creating an album that near perfectly portrays the process of falling out of love with stellar production and wonderful songwriting. While it seemed nearly impossible for Tyler to follow up **** Flower Boy, he does so with an album just as personal and beautiful.

Jun 3, 2019Against his fans desires, Tyler strays even further from his older aggressive style and gives us something even better than that; with what"s possibly one of the most creative, experimental, and borderline ear-gasmic break-up albums dropped in a while.
-
Jun 21, 2019This album is easily my favorite of the year so far. With it's incredible production, genius instrumentation, and engaging story it is quite hard to beat.

May 19, 2019This is one of the most exciting albums of recent years. Superb production, interesting and different song structures. Gets better after each listen and as a full body of work it flows and tells a story. Very refreshing in an era filled with average music and predictability.
-
May 17, 2019Another classic album from Tyler! The production is amazing and his new style is getting even more into singing instead of rapping. Although his singing voice isn't exactly great it has charm and the songs are great and fit well with it.
-
May 17, 2019I like that everyone can notice Tyler's evolution through the time. And this is a great example. He told us not to expect a rap album or any album at all. And the result is great. The production in this is beautiful and it is a nice experience to listen to it calmly. There are songs to relax, to play in the car, I personally loved this album.
-
May 18, 2019IGOR - is not what you usually hear from Tyler. This is new. Strongly recommended for listening. This is the sweetest mix of R&B, funk, soul and hip-hop. This is the best album of the year so far:
-
May 20, 2019Definitely has Tyler’s old sound and strays away from the “Flower Boy” era.
-
May 17, 2019
-
May 17, 2019a beautiful sound from Tyler, with captivating theme. Loved almost every song except for maybe an earfquake.
-
May 20, 2019An ambitious music project created by Tyler. A unique blend of sounds which creates this beautiful architect of an album. A reflective discussion into love, obsession and creativity.
-
Oct 8, 2019yes daddy tyler

May 17, 2019I made an account just to leave a review for this. i love album bro. Please listen.
-
May 18, 2019Easily tyler's worst album, pointless features, pointless high pitched vocals, it literally ruined so many songs from being great here, but the beats are probably the best in his entire career, so he improved on that at least.
-
May 17, 2019I'm honestly pretty new to Tyler and his music, after listening to Flower Boy recently and thoroughly enjoying it, I felt like this album felt too messy and cluttered, where the music was not necessarily bad, however it just felt like so much could've been done so much better.
-
May 17, 2019Interesting production muddied by obnoxious euphemisms. There are genuine highlights, but lyrics like "I'm your puppet, U control me" and "U make my earthquake" lack subtletly, convey no real emotion, and are corny as hell. The first, stronger half of the record is captivating enough, but there is no compelling narrative to hold onto here. Overall, a weak and superfluous follow up to Flower Boy.
-
May 21, 2019One of the worst albums I ever heard, production is good but that's where it ends. Hardly any lyrics, a whole lot of samples , nothing makes sense. What happened to making meaningful music, with verses and hooks? Absolutely pathetic album, if you think this is good you honestly need help. 0/10 and I'm not trolling, it's not listenable.

May 18, 2019Great production with a streamlined and effective message. Only issue with the album is I’m not sure that I will return to it as much as flowerboy

May 19, 2019Tyler isn't even rappin for the most part of the album the only thing good about this album is production
and you can not make a good album with keeping in mind only aspect of a album in every other aspect this album is trash -

Oct 28, 2019Simply the best Tyler's record, listening to it front to back is mesmerizing
-
Feb 3, 2020It sounds very modern, but with nothing at all interesting to it, like every unsuccessful artist in my Spotify Discover Weekly playlist, so it's a mystery to me why he is so popular.
-
Mar 8, 2020i listened to the WHOLE album n not ONE song was listenable it was seriously like nails on chalkboard or Styrofoam i can't BELIEVE this guy has a following.
-
Jul 24, 2020i can recognize the lyrcal potential but the sounds.... production is all boring tho

May 21, 2019I thought, who is that berk with the hair?
Then I listened
Dude's cool, wicked fat tunes bruv. Boom ting! -
Jun 4, 2019More experimental than ever, Tyler the Creator's songs can causes estrangement in his more casual fans with many less rhymes and a much more experimental way. Igor expands R&B, soul and electronic influences from Flower Boy too, although more dense and confessional than its older brother.

May 23, 2019Tyler at his very best, haven't stopped bumping it. It gives me a sense of happiness and sadness that mixes together so well, it leaves transcended into another worldly state. It's one of those albums that brings out my emotion just from listening to it.
-
May 18, 2019definitely not as good as the wolf or flower boy but definitely better than the rest. The production here is amazing but the lyrics are not that memorable. Keep on going tyler
-
May 29, 2020Tyler should be proud of himself as IGOR is one of the most unique and creative projects in hip hop in recent memory.
-
Jun 27, 2019Amazing album.
A well thought concept with very unique almost abstract production and good lyrics. -
Jul 28, 2019The album establishes mood better than almost any. The production is flawless and jaw dropping. It's innovate, genreless and a treat to listen to. The mix of R&B, soul, funk, jazz, psychedelia, and hip hop is done so masterfully. A true jaw dropping artistic creation sonically, but also carries a well thought out and layered theme.
Awards & Rankings

The WireJul 11, 2019Things improve markedly when he plays to his strengths with the nuanced narrative of “A Boy Is A Gun”, but ultimately such moments [are] hard to hear over the pitiable “Puppet” and “Earfquake”, functional pop wisely rejected by Justin Bieber and Rihanna. When the narrative sags and his mind seems to wander, it just isn’t enough, no matter how stylish the trimmings. [Aug 2019, p.68]
-
Jun 27, 2019For the most part, Tyler has opted out of his rapping heritage, preferring pitch-altered singing vocals which will split some opinion. However, this elevated IGOR beyond the mere confines of genre, to a substantially great work of art, cementing Tyler's case as one of this decade's most essential artists.
-
Jun 21, 2019It’s an intriguing album with few dips (only Kanye’s verse on Puppet sounds rather phoned in and lacklustre), and it adds up to Tyler, The Creator’s best work to date. He may not be threatening Western civilization anymore, but he is creating something far more interesting.
