    This album is magnificent. I read once that an artist’s second album is expected to be bigger and superior than the first. Well this one is DEFINITELY superior than her debut album “Dua Lipa”. If her debut album is very good, Future Nostalgia is excellent. It is very well constructed and well thought out. It’s cohesive, the lyrics are very good and I’m in love with the production and theThis album is magnificent.     This album is a mind-changer. In 2017 I was criticising Dua Lipa for her lack of stage presence and personality and now I'm suddenly buying tickets to see her live in Barcelona in 2021. Since her eponymous debut studio album she has evolved from a little girl who wanted to make music so badly that followed the rules of the pop game in order to make a timeless song with no essence into aThis album is a mind-changer. In 2017 I was criticising Dua Lipa for her lack of stage presence and personality and now I'm suddenly buying tickets to see her live in Barcelona in 2021. Since her eponymous debut studio album she has evolved from a little girl who wanted to make music so badly that followed the rules of the pop game in order to make a timeless song with no essence into a full beautiful confident woman that will do whatever is in her hands to change the game. The work in this album is very satisfying. It tastes like freedom and glory made possible by the coordination of producers, mixers, graphic artists, record label and the voice behind it. "Future Nostalgia" is simply magnificent. The title is exciting, the cover art is very attractive and its content is diverse, catchy, touching and moody. Her voice sounds so confident and floating that there is no reason to doubt her. It really has songs that will age like fine Italian wine, a concept, a modern sound and a social message at the end. It just has everything an album needs to be perfect.
    I thought that pop royalty ended with Taylor Swift's '1989' six years ago but I was clearly wrong! Now that we have entered a new decade Dua is the most likely to define the game with this project and the upcoming ones. Since we are all home (I hope we ALL are home, if not, go home man what the ****), Dua Lipa has given us the best material to throw the most memorable clandestine house party to dance around with our beloved ones.
    A debut album gives you the right to play around with different genres and not making much of a cohesive album but the second is the one that will define your career, your professional future in the industry and well, her future feels brighter than anyone's else, no joking. Despite--or perhaps because of--its brevity (just over 30 minutes), "Future Nostalgia" is arresting in its tension, passion, and undeniable creative ingenuity. See so I just want to thank Dua Lipa for this perfect album, an undeniable pop masterpiece filled with the most enjoyable Swedish pop sound mixed with melancholic disco music that will for sure reinvent the music industry and save us from another male-dominated hip-hop era. "Future Nostalgia" will be remembered as a goosebumpic discotheque blackout; a collection of pop majesty to dance away your anxieties to; one of the best pop albums to be released in recent memory.    … Expand

    One of the best albums of this year. It contains sweet 80s and 90s elements, inspired by Madonna, ABBA, Kylie and even Gwen. Dua also added a modern sound into disco party, making this album more interesting to listen.

    Listening to it was a real pleasure. I've been in tears, I've been dancing alone in my bedroom, I've been smiling so hard, I had so much joy, and I just forgot all the problems around me. Right now we are living in a hard time but I could forget all these bad things while listening to this album. it was like a cure, so I would like to thanks    Ok, first of all, it's a really good album.

Right now we are living in a hard time but I could forget all these bad things while listening to this album. it was like a cure, so I would like to thanks Dua for this. The production, the instrumental and the vocals are perfect. So much melodies (love the violin parts in some songs), so much things to heard in each song but it's never "too much", every little thing is well balanced. I loved every song on the album (a little less "Good In Bed" but it still wasn't bad at all!). My favorites are definitely : "Don't Start Now" ; "Physical" ; "Break My Heart" ; "Levitating" and "Hallucinate" (what a song, I almost died). "Future Nostalgia", "Cool", "Pretty Please" and "Love Again" are excellent too. Good beats, good production. Then there's "Boys Will Be Boys", which hasn't the same 'disco/retro' vibe of all the previous tracks but it is still special and good in my opinion (and reading the lyrics is important to understand the message behind. I'm a man but I didn't feel offended at all, I understood clearly what Dua wanted to say.). There's no skip for me.

    I just wish the album was longer, but we get what we get, I'm still satisfied. I'm proud of Dua, because she did an amazing job with this era and this album. The 'disco' genre fits her perfectly. I really love when an album has a universe and a whole theme behind. The title/theme 'Future Nostalgia' fits very well what the album is about. Dua brought back 'disco/retro' genre (nostalgia) and made it feel modern (future). She even sampled some parts from old/disco songs, she modified these parts and created new modern songs with. So she did what she had to do, and she did great, that's all I've to say about this.

    Very happy for her, very satisfied about this album.
    I'm not even scared to say that 'Future Nostalgia' is probably the Album of the Year (at least, it is for me!).    … Expand

The new supreme of pop music, with a critically acclaimed studio album and beyond gorgeous visuals. I hope in fifteen or so years, we look back at her as a legend and as someone who left their indelible mark on music.

    Definitely one of the best albums inspired by the 80s and the best pop album in the last couple of years. Dua Lipa is an incredible artist with an extremely promising future. Hoping for this work of art to receive even more recognition and win many awards (hello AOTY). Anyway, I loved every track SO much, especially levitating, good in bed and boys will be boys.

    Actually, I've never been a fan of '80's pop vibes. This album has made alterations in my mind. With its beautiful production, catchy and deep-soul tunes, Dua revives the past music era and fiercely invades the industry.

    After around a week of listeting to beautiful examples of simple most popular hits I thought this album will be    I wasn`t into dance pop music so much and started listen to it with an Shout-Out Pop Hits playlist on YouTube music. I was looking for rhythmic interesting songs with an idea and pure strong energy behind it. As the result I skipped more than a half of songs to classic pop hits.
    After around a week of listeting to beautiful examples of simple most popular hits I thought this album will be something like her first one that i didn`t like at all. First ~10 listenings was crazy. I felt the rhytm of every track, each of them had different idea and realisation and the most amazing thing for me is that every second track i had a feeling that i`ve already heard some specific part of instrumentalssinging even though i`m not such an old pop fan. If I can listen to an album for a long time for me it means it`s good. I still listen to this album especially after great deluxe. All of that feels to me like 1010.     No skips, 100% fresh new, even with the whole 80s vibes. Dua at her best, succeding in deliver an amazing sophomore album, but raising the bar for herself for what she'll do next (whatever it is I'm here for it).

She nailed every song on her sophomore album, she really broke the cursed of the second album being her most successful album to date and making a better record than her debut album. This collection of songs, very cohesive, brings us 80s/90s pop vibes! Her voice and vocals on this album is so strong, confident and powerful.. talking about the lyrics are just a masterpiece, she knows how to write a good song, she can't make a bad song, there is no single song in this album that you can't call "a bop". The production is wonderful and out of this world, she found the pop sound that a lot of pop girlies are chasing, she knew with who to work and how to make a good team for the album, even though a lot of songs were scrapped from the album like If It Ain't Me or Ball And Chain that are wonderful and perfect bops, we all can agree this is a pop perfection album. I can really see her winning Best Pop Vocal Album and (i hope) Album Of The Year at the Grammy's 2021, maybe she won't win Album Of The Year but i'm pretty sure she'll get those 2 nominations! I'm so proud of how this girl grew up as an artist and how her sound grew and got more mature as she kept growing and learning. This is one of the best pop albums in recent memory, Dua Lipa is now a main pop girlie.… Expand

    Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
