    fantastic follow up to their first album. energetic and great on multiple listens. the "foil deer" track is the winner of the album, hands down. tracks play wonderfully live.

    Nothing on this record is amazing, but nothing is totally undesirable either. An enjoyable, though admittedly mild, release from Speedy Ortiz. I would recommend it, but will not personally be returning to it often.

    Her wordplay ducks and weaves among the braided guitar melodies and idiosyncratic rhythm section with a razor-sharp cutting edge, with varying levels of daintiness, allowing the dangerously catchy melodies and thicker-bodied hooks to amass into a fantastically fluid LP.
