    An improvement from her last album and her best one so far. Lola is the best song she's ever made, it has an important message and the production is beautiful. There are some songs here that feel out of place and those are psychofreak, Quiet and everyone at this party. I feel like they don't really fit within the album and Lola was better as a closer. 7.4 out of 10

    I don't really like this album from Camila, I liked Romance and self titled better. Some of the songs sounds the same, the only standout is Bam Bam. But I really appreciate the theme of this album.

    Buena producción, la lírica llega a ser simple en algunos pero compleja en otras canciones. Lola y Boys Don't Cry tratan temas interesante. Sólo faltó un poquito de cohesión entre las pistas del álbum para que pareciera más un proyecto unido.

    Familia is in my opinion the best album of 2022 so far. There is a mixture of rythms, and she goes back to her latin roots which is awesome. I feel like she put a lot of effort on it and it shows in every lyric.

    With Familia, Camilla begins to enter a period of her career where nothing she does is satisfactory enough for both of her fans and critics alike. With generic Latin pop tunes screaming at you, and a misplaced EDM track (psychofreak), Familia manages numerous attempts to keep the album to sound the same - and successfully does so (it's not a good thing).

    This album is not only diverse and beautiful, but it speaks of feelings that are hard for me to explain. It makes me feel seen and its like she went to the deepest crevices of my mind and made songs out of them. Highly, highly recommend!

    Tracklist is a bit chaotic. She tried to make an album inspired in Cuban music but has English-speaking singers featured and shallow lyrics. It is nice to listen to but nothing over the top.

    Something is missing.. And I am saying this as a huge Camila fan. She should work with Mark Ronson and give us emo bops. This Latin sound is so boring and unoriginal and I am 100% sure that she doesn’t enjoy this album. Romance remains superior for now.

    Its such an empty album, the context behind the name has no similarity or coherence with the songs, maybe one or two but the others have nothing to do with it. Repetitive lyrics, the only thing it generates is disgust, I really didn't like it at all

While this album is in no way awful, it is filled with generic boring lyrics, with a real lack of cohesiveness and just blandness altogether.     I think this is an album where Camila is really raw and vulnerable. We can feel what she wants to express in her song and all the songs have a different beat but all are amazing.

    This album is another 10/10 project in Camila’s discography. We witness the star dive into the sound of her latin roots with pop infusion. What’s really astounding about this album is how vulnerable and relatable Camila is as she exposes her insecurities and anxiety which resonates with a lot of us. You must listen to it!

She's also raising awareness about important topics such as adultification, anxiety, toxic masculinity, personal insecurities, difficulties of women in 3rdAn absolute win for Camila. It's the story of her life journey over the past two years and deals with two main main topics: her very public romantic relationship (and subsequent breakup) and her mental health healing process. But the album also honours her Latin roots through use of classic Cuban and Mexican instruments in the production such as the mariachi in La Buena Vida. It makes for a very unique and sonically satisfying experience. Somehow Camila manages to inject Latin into mainstream pop seamlessly. There are plenty of BOPs to dance to, but there are some very impactful ballads that stay with you such as Lola and Everyone at this Party. For me, this is one of the few albums I ever listen to that has zero skips even after many listens. Outstanding work by Camila showcasing her willingness to take risks for her art and growth as an artist. I predict she will be one of the greats of the music industry for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️… Expand

    Not only did this album have so much diversity and range, but each song has such beautifully written lyrics. It's like she put the feelings I dont understand into something comprehensible. I feel like this album filled every layer of my heart. I felt like a little girl dancing and singing around my room all night.. I'm very happy and grateful I got to listen to Familia

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Absolutely mesmerized by the ‘Familia’ album, wow! I’ve followed Camila for 6 years now and proud is always an understatement. When we got CAMILA debut I was so young and so excited, when we got Romance I was older and impressed, but now getting Familia.... the vibe is just so light and incredible, definitely the best representation of herself yet. My favorite tracks are “Hasta Los Dientes” — love Maria and Camila on this, latin Queens. “No Doubt” — I’ve been begging her to do something close to reggaeton for so long, this track fulfilled that desire and so much more, it’s sexy and raw, her unique runs make it 10x better. “La Buena Vida” — at first I didn’t like this song when she performed it at tiny desk, but now WOW I consider it to be one of the best songs in her career so far, the way she managed to put a mariachi band into an english track and make it so enjoyable... immaculate. “Lola” — This track made me the proudest, she is so spoken for her people and the way she made a social critic so beautifully brought me to tears, specially since we know Camila herself could’ve been a ‘Lola’. “Pyschofreak” — this might steal the top spot for a WHILE, I was stunned to hear the lyrics and how open she was about her mental health, when Willow joined the song became even better, she brought so much flavor and her vocals touched my soul. “Everyone At This Party” — my close to the heart ballad for personal reasons, ending with this track must’ve been so hard but also so beautiful, her honesty is very much appreciated! I keep changing favorites. But Lola it's such a gem and carries a much needed message. Quiet and No Doubt are gold.     I love the album, I love her singing in spanish!!! It's very cohesive and sincere. Her best work!

    Loved every song on this album. I loved Romance, Liar is one of my favorites but I think Familia is her best yet.

    The album introduces any listener into a world of many feelings, from joy, the need to dance to sadness, a little anxiety induced through her vocals, witty lyrics and expressive instruments. Even if you don't speak Spanish, you can understand what's ment to be behind words. She wanted to bring more the Latino spice into other cultures and I think that she succeeded.

    This album illustrates how it feels to suffer from anxiety and the safe havens from it so beautifully, all with incredible vocals and refreshing sounds. Her best work. Just wish it was longer honestly.
