    i thought the album took on a new sound for tomlinson, anyone who has been following his career will see the development of the musician and his stylistic choices. The new album has a early indie rock feel and although not taking too much of a change in tone, if you are into a mix of soft rock and early 2000s indie pop you will adore this album.     i tried to criticize this album but i literally can't. It's that good. So good to see Louis grow into a sound that feels personal and special. Excited to go to one of his show and hear it live!

    He tried different genres but they all collect beautifully in this album. You can hear his idol's influences in the album but he is doing it in his own way. As always his lyrics are amazing. I can't wait for live performances it is gonna be amazing

    Amazing to see how much he evolved as a songwriter and is much more confident in his roots and talent. This album feel so nostalgic to me because it reminds me the stuff I used to hear when I was younger, the indie rock that marked my adolescence so strongly.     This album shows that Louis knows what he is doing after all and is very confident at the same time. There were a lot of songs on "Walls" that I liked, but on this album, there are more harder songs that I immediately fell in love with.

    The way Louis started the album with THE GREATEST?? an absolute masterpiece.

    I really think this is waaaay better than 'walls' and you can hear it since the beggining of this proyect.

He knows his strengths and he plays them, showcasing his honest-as-ever songwriting through ballad-like tunes like Angels Fly and That’s The Way Love Goes, but he also knows that he's at his best when he goes all out.     I was pleasantly surprised. Really solid album! Could have been take further production wise but this guy has talent and I can say a new fan. Though I hated 1D and don’t like that new HS record at all this was just very nice on the ears with heartwarming lyrics and variety in every track, all which are different while the album remains cohesive.     When I heard the first song I already knew that i was going to love the álbum, it's perfect, probably the best album from Louis until now. Louis is a great songwriter, this we can't deny. The second track it's so good and Lucky again shows that Louis it's not just a good guy but very talented and smart, and somehow we can see through and falling in love for his songs.

The lyrics are as always Tomlinson’s main focus like in his debut album Walls but the growth shows in the production of each track. The sound is more bold this time around. Majority of the tracks leave a chill down your spine and make you want to dance around meanwhile vulnerable pieces like Chicago and Saturdays will make your heart weep. That’s the way love goes is a bittersweet eye opener that makes you want to give your mate a cuddle! All in all the growth shows and with this album, Louis Tomlinson outdid himself!     It is amazing to see Louis experimenting with new sounds and making it seem as if he’s been making this kind of music for years, the growth artistically from Walls really is noticeable, and even though Walls was already a good album, I think Faith In The Future just shows and represents who Louis is a lot better. Congratulations on this album Louis, it is incredible.

    Horrível. Ele ta perdido e é nítido que ele nem sabe o que ta fazendo, ele não é um bom compositor, as melodias são inesquecíveis e por deus, os vocais são terríveis, esse cara NÃO SABE CANTAR. Ta na hora de procurar outra carreira. Ele é o exemplo mais claro que é possível ficar mundialmente conhecido escorado no talento de outros.

    Absolutely Nothing Special about this album, almsot every song on the album was boring. 2 maybe 3 ok songs its the reason its getting a 3. You don’t need vocals all you need is to be a good singer and sadly thats not something Louis is.

My favorite music so far is Written All Over Your Face, but I’m sure that every single tune will sound amazing once he hits the road again, and I can’t wait for that!     Everything on this album is amazing: the vocals, the lyrics, the melodies... Definitely one of the best albums I've ever heard, a masterpiece!

    that's.... an album I guess. can't believe he could do something worse than his first album "Walls" but I guess I was wrong. The sound is just mediocre and his vocals are just bad. like I'm sorry lol

    If you know the British indie scene from the last five/ten years, you will see a pale imitation of those great bands at play here. There is nothing sonically original. Elements of influence haven't been combined to create anything new. Nothing interesting is being explored. Sadly this falls in to the realm of pastiche. Also not helped by weak vocals and very obvious lyrics.

    Louis Tomlinson has no sound of his own and just emulates better artists. Chicago and Angels Cry are Oasis karaoke. She is Beauty is a New Order rip off. Out of My System cosplays The Arctic Monkeys. His vocals are thin and tinny throughout.

    Honestly, it is not a good album, to say that there is a musical evolution. The lyrics are very predictable and the rhythms stick to generic sounds that we've heard many times. it usually gets boring. What a pity

    Conozco a Louis tomlinson desde el 2011, se cuanto ha crecido y lo que se ha esforzado por llegar hasta donde está, Louis sin duda escribe las mejores canciones del mundo, lleva rompiendo desde el 2016 hasta ahora y sigue!!! Basta yo amo a este ser, es tan genial, mi ídolo

    If anything, however, new album ‘Faith In The Future’ is simply too nice. The songwriting is sturdy and well-formed, leaning on his indie roots – you can hear ghosts of the Gallaghers, whispers of Chris Martin – without ever truly channelling something dangerous, or edgy. ... It just doesn’t raise the pulse, or quicken the blood-flow in a way you might long for.
