    I love Lady Gaga. (Alice, Plastic Doll, Free Woman, 1000 Doves, Sine From Above, 911 were all bops) I think Plastic doll is the song I've listened to most out of all her albums. I am an avid fan. I've been there since "Just Dance" debuted on the radio. Stupid Love was an okay song, I listen to it from time to time. I really didn't like the songs that made it on the radio. I disliked SourI love Lady Gaga. (Alice, Plastic Doll, Free Woman, 1000 Doves, Sine From Above, 911 were all bops) I think Plastic doll is the song I've listened to most out of all her albums. I am an avid fan. I've been there since "Just Dance" debuted on the radio. Stupid Love was an okay song, I listen to it from time to time. I really didn't like the songs that made it on the radio. I disliked Sour Candy and Rain on me, which the latter seems to be the most played on the radio for some reason. I was disappointed because I thought the collabs could've made better songs. I was hoping for more dance pop hits. But I guess Gaga was doing something experimental. Can't wait until the next album!… Expand

    Gaga returns to her roots on Chromatica. A total 180 from her days of Joanne, Chromatica gives us timeless pop anthems. Staying true to herself, Gaga gives a lot of insight into her personal life, as well as carries themes of feminism. A truly cohesive project, Chromatica never repeats itself as every track gives a familiar, yet new flavor. While it doesn't quite outdo projects like BornGaga returns to her roots on Chromatica. A total 180 from her days of Joanne, Chromatica gives us timeless pop anthems. Staying true to herself, Gaga gives a lot of insight into her personal life, as well as carries themes of feminism. A truly cohesive project, Chromatica never repeats itself as every track gives a familiar, yet new flavor. While it doesn't quite outdo projects like Born This Way or The Fame, it certainly adds to her impressive discography.… Expand

    Grandioso e igênuo. Potente e vulnerável. Altruísta e doloroso. Difícil julgar os sentimentos de alguém, esses são mais do que o tema central aqui. Me perco um pouco na organização das faixas, não entendo bem o storytelling, mas, a mensagem é clara e evidente. 8.9 - ganha pontos pela execução e conceito - produção de ponta!

    Very few albums bridge electronic dance music with complex emotional and spiritual arcs. Chromatica perfectly captures the essence of Lady Gaga’s personal story, while giving us some great music to sweat the pain out with. Two and a half years after the release I still listen to the album every single day.

    Chromatica knows what it’s doing. It is a journey through trauma, and an experience of healing in itself. Hearing the many nuances of storytelling within the production of this album - the way Replay sounds like musical trauma itself - this album is a perfect 10.

Una obra fuertemente influenciada por el haus, disco y    Lady Gaga logra crear su propio mundo fantástico y colorido en su sexto trabajo discográfico. Un álbum conceptual que en palabras de la propia Gaga la sanó y sirvió como terapia para afrontar algunos traumas personales y problemas de salud mental.

    "Chromatica" fue concebido como un álbum digno de ser escuchado de principio a fin. Una obra fuertemente influenciada por el haus, disco y EDM de los años 90's que se encuentra dividida en tres actos perfectamente diferenciados, cada uno precedido por un interludio que brinda una atmósfera de drama teatral y éxtasis colosal.

    Definitivamente la mezcla de sonidos es el gran acierto de este álbum, la transición entre canciones sucede de una forma muy cohesiva y armónica, "Chromatica II" a "911", y los inesperados cambios de ritmos resultan algo extraños al principio pero logran funcionar bastante bien, "Sine From Above" por mencionar un ejemplo. Por otro lado, la interpretación que Gaga hace de cada una de las canciones es apoteósica, claramente se nota una evolución en el control de su voz que se ve reflejada en el juego de tonos y armonías musicales que emplea, "Enigma" y "1000 Doves".

    En fin, Chromatica es un himno de fiesta, un sueño bailable, una fantasía electrónica-pop que nos recuerda y hace homenaje a la Gaga de sus inicios con trabajos como "The Fame" y "Born This Way".

    This is literally the best album of 2020. Gaga once again proved that there is no one better than her now and no one to compete with her but herself. Alice, Sour Candy, Babylon, Plastic Doll, Chromatica II + 911..... can't tell you how beautiful this album is

    I think this is Lady Gaga’s best album. Lyrically, conceptually, vocally, and visually. She did not disappoint with this album. This album is the definition of dancing through your pain and feeling healed at the end of it.

    I always come back to this beautiful album, I relate to a lot of these songs and the depression i felt during the time it was released was immeasurable, when i talk to people about how i felt i feel my heart sink and crack into a million pieces , even as i type this my eyes are watering. Holds radio hits (Rain On Me, Stupid Love) but the highlights of the album can be found in the lesser-known niche experimental tracks (911, Plastic Doll, Babylon). Gaga also knows how to blend her signature “weird pop” sound into more commercially friendly tracks, as seen in the success of “Sour Candy” and “911”, my9/10 - A genius concept album with a sound that isn’t for everyone. Holds radio hits (Rain On Me, Stupid Love) but the highlights of the album can be found in the lesser-known niche experimental tracks (911, Plastic Doll, Babylon). Gaga also knows how to blend her signature “weird pop” sound into more commercially friendly tracks, as seen in the success of “Sour Candy” and “911”, my personal favorites. This album is the perfect proof that Gaga can do it all; not to forget the impressive and beautiful interludes that section out the album and provide impressive transitions that are beyond ear candy. The only thing inching Chromatica away from a 10/10 is the way that certain tracks simply didn’t stick with me after a few listens. While I am able to note that a song is of high quality when listening, I struggled to recall certain songs that simply didn’t leave a massive impact in my mind (1000 Doves, Fun Tonight, Enigma). In sum, Gaga has done something that has not been done before with Chromatica, taking the highs out of each of her previous works and blending them into a near-flawless amalgamation.… Expand

    1. Alice - THIS SONG IS SUCH A BANGER! I love her vocals and the transition between the beautiful string arrangement and this heavy house dance pop song. The contrast is beautiful and clever.     2. Stupid Love - this song is defenintly weak if u compare the song to the rest of the album and a poor single choice. But it dont deserve all the hate it's reciving from the little monsters. The production is quite simple but good and nostalgic. It reminds me of the 80's/90's and her song do what u want. Her backing vocals during the track are very exaggeraded and it gives me an old gaga vibe. The song peformed live, is better. It has potential even tho it's quite weak. I dont like the sample during the chours or the childlike lyrics...

    3. Rain On Me (with Ariana Grande) - THIS SONG IS A MASTERPIECE. I love everything about this song. It was a great second single but deserved more promotion and attention. The production of the song is amazing with disco samples made into a house pop edm anthem. Ever since the first listen, I've been addicted and it hasn't aged at all. The first chours with gaga's breathy falsetto is angelic and i could listen to it all day. Ari's vocie during the second verse is just as good and contrast as well with gaga's deep RAIN. ON. ME. vocals. My favorite part of the song is the last chours.

    4. Free Woman - is a feministic anthem with a great message. The lead vocals are amazing. The backing vocals gives me classic gaga vibes (again) with the "be free" vocals. The song overall is weak and the production of it is quite basic and overdone. It feels like a drop i've heard before. The drop does not hit as hard as u want and it throws u off. The demo version is better. They should've kept the bridge at the end of the demo version.

    5. Fun Tonight - this sad song is probobly the weakest track of the album. The lyrics are good but the melody in the chours throws you off. The track should've fit better as a piano ballad. The production dont fit the song, in my opinion.

    6. 911 - this song is one of my favorite songs off the album. The production and the transition between chromatica II and this song is god tier. The dark vibes and gaga's robotic vocals throughout the song is amazing and is a genius connection to the lyrics. The song is amazing periodt.

    7. Plastic Doll - is an underrated bop! The lyrics and vocals are immaculate. The production is a better version of Stupid Love and I love the concept of the song. Plastic Doll serves a really great message and the bridge of the song is just so good and gives me so much old gaga vibes.

    8. Sour Candy (with Blackpink) - This song is also one of my favorites! Blackpink and gaga sound so good in this track. I love the deep synth. The song was born to serve at a catwalk. The lyrics are clever! The song aged like wine. It deserves a music video and single treatment.

    9. Enigma - is, just like stupid love, really hated in the little monster fandom. In my opinion, this song isn't bad at all. It's def not the best but it isnt bad. Her vocals during the verses are soft and beautiful and during the chourses powerful and strong. The lyrics of the song is magical and the production is good. I really like the bass in the chours. It's quite underrated.

    10. Replay - on the other hand is in my opinion overrated in the little monster fandom. The song is amazing and has a really 70's disco vibe. The lyrics in the 2nd verse is god tier. The production is also AMAZING, sampling Diana Ross. I dont listen to the song as often tho, so it gets a lower rating.

    11. Sine From Above (with Elton John) - was a song that at the first listen, I didnt enjoy as much. But it grew on me. It's still not one of my favorites, but the song is still rather strong. The song makes me feel nostalgic and reminds me of a Eurovision song. Elton's vocals and gaga's harmonies are very good and I love it. I love the experimental drum beat at the end of the song.

    12. 1000 Doves - deserved to be a ballad. The album version with the edm house beat does not fit the song. The ballad on the deluxe version is so much better. This song together with Fun Tonight, are the weakest songs off the album. The lyrics in this song is amazing tho.

    13. Babylon - is also one of my favorites of Chromatica. Her dark vocals about strutting and serving it ancient city style are emesmerising. The lyrics are clever. I love the production and gospel choir backing vocals! This song is amazing and an amazing closing track to Chromatica. We deserved to hear the alternative version of this song tho.

    WOW! eso es lo que es Chromatica, es un álbum que te enseña de lo que es capaz Gaga, sus bocales, sus letras y los beats te enseñan ese lado emocional y como es ella realmente, y es que ya hemos visto todo en Lady Gaga, y nos sigue sorprendiendo.

    espero esto sea solo el inicio para re encaminar a una nueva Gaga, Paws up.

    This album was definitely a grower. At first listen, some of the songs can sound very similar to each other. However, after a few listens that goes away. I do think some songs are very repetitive. Overall, not my favorite Gaga album, but definitely not my least favorite either.

    Fantastic electric pop album. I missed dance music from Gaga and it's great she's delivering this style of music for her fans again. The Chromatica interludes are very interesting on albums, I've never seen them done before. I love 9/11, Alice, Sour Candy and Rain on Me. All of the tracks are great though. My least favorite are 1000 doves, plastic doll and fun tonight but honestly allFantastic electric pop album. I can't blame why so many people admire Lady Gaga it's because she's brave enough, her spirit is wild, free and creative enough. I truly respect her as an artist.     definitely her most cohesive album to date which at first I didn't like because i wanted a slow song but know i get that this was the whole point of the album. To dance through tears, so of course it didn't have a slow song. Really interesting production, kinda 90's , I guess never been there, but with a modern twist.     Gaga proves onces again she's meant to be a pop powerhouse, the instrumental breakthroughs in between songs make you feel like you're literally in another planet. All collabs hit different spots in the good way and some solo songs stand out such like alice and 911. Chromatica is Gaga's comeback to her dance pop roots and it's delightful to witness it. 10/10

    After listening to Chromatica for well over a year now, it's clear to see that this record is one of Lady Gaga's strongest releases to date. Chromatica is a very strong return to form for the American pop superstar, one which was highly anticipated and dubbed 'a return to her roots'. Incredible.

    Chromatica is a work of art. It's beautiful, thoughful and it carries so much pain into the lyrics, but at the same time, it reveals to us that is possible to still dance and enjoy even if we have problems, pain, difficultties or whatever challenge we face.
    The pinacles of this album, for me, are Rain on Me and Babylon... two very poweful songs, not only in the beat but in the lyrics,    Chromatica is a work of art. It's beautiful, thoughful and it carries so much pain into the lyrics, but at the same time, it reveals to us that is possible to still dance and enjoy even if we have problems, pain, difficultties or whatever challenge we face.

    Back and with a lot of nostalgia ... Lady Gaga has the best possible return to Pop, her collaborations and her solo songs on this album are really incredible, this is very contagious and vibrant.

    Chromatica is one Gaga's best works since Born This Way. She's getting back to what she knows best dance-pop bops that will be played at gay bars for the rest of the century. It has been more than a year and many of the songs like Rain on Me and Enigma still sound as fresh as the day they were released. This is what high-brow pop albums should sound like.

    Chromatic is absolutely perfect and beautiful. Lady Gaga is able to make sad and depressing themes into an epic dance party capable of uplifting anyone’s mood and also make beautiful empowering songs like Rain on Me and Free Woman into more club bangers.

    Album starts of with "Chromatica I", which leds straight to "Alice". That instrumental is really beautiful, and I'm amazed they manage to connect it with this dance number. "Alice" has a really nice sentiment in the lyrics, backed-up with really cool production. "Stupid Love" is a nice dance track too, having nice production, with every element making sense. Gaga's vocals shines here forAlbum starts of with "Chromatica I", which leds straight to "Alice". That instrumental is really beautiful, and I'm amazed they manage to connect it with this dance number. "Alice" has a really nice sentiment in the lyrics, backed-up with really cool production. "Stupid Love" is a nice dance track too, having nice production, with every element making sense. Gaga's vocals shines here for sure. However after the first listen I took an issue with lower note on song's chorus, but now it sounds fine. It's followed by "Rain on Me", a song of alcoholism with really cool lyrics. I love not only the vocal performance of Gaga and Ariana, and how good they play out each other, but I have to say that the bridge is my most favorite part of the track, Gaga presents such force here! "Free Woman" has many memorable lines, I especially adore "This is my dance floor I fought for". I was in love with that song since the first listen, and both final and demo versions are worth checking out. When the Gaga screams "I'm a free woman", it's so powerful. "Fun Tonight", unlike the title might suggest, is about not having fun. It's kinda slower, more focused on vocals and lyrics referencing to both The Fame and "Paparazzi" as real things and Gaga musical numbers.
    "Chromatica II" is a perfect arrangment, and how it leds to "911" is just perfect. While "911" itself is more non-human, numb song. It's really great demonstration what depression might do with a person. "Plastic Doll" is definitely the lowest point on the record, with questionable intro, and weird song texture. Of course, you can vibe to it, and it contains funny rhimes like "Who's that girl, Malibu Gaga? / Looks so sad, what is this saga?". But all the measures and other songs considered - yes, it's the worst song on the album. "Sour Candy" is really cool song, sexy and welcoming tone of the performers backed by really cool production, it's really great, but it's so short. Too short. It leds to "Enigma", it's a rock-inspired track, when on the bridge you can just feel the energy! This song will definitely kill performed live. "Replay" starts off with Gaga distorted first line vocals, which leds to really beautiful composition, with nice switch-up at the end.
    "Chromatica III" sounds like a rain, and like the previous instrumentals it blends perfectly with the next track. "Sine from Above" is a really beautiful song, both in performers delivery, as well as tracks's production. Drum n bass outro is really kick-ass and makes the song really perfect! "1000 Doves" is slower, and reflects how Gaga copes with low points - with knowing how the demo sounded it just shows how ballads can be both on an actual instrument or backed-up with a dance beat. "Babylon" is overrated. I'm not saying it's bad, because if you can't vibe to chorus of this song, I don't know what can you. But this chorus is also Madonna-sounding. From the first listen, I knew it was based on "Vogue"'s bridge. And unfortunetly the song is short and this version we got here introduces more tropical vibe, than the stricte electro sound of original. "Love Me Right" is a really distinctive track on the album, because it's really slow and sweet, and it shows how much Lady Gaga is vulnerable.
    Lady Gaga presented really nice project. It's cohesive and it's not boring. The message and the healing offered by her here makes sense. It's definitely her best offering since debut.    … Expand

After a very severe backlash and a does of humility with Artpop and a series of very diverse moves to re-establish her incredible artistry, this is the best return to form I can imagine. It's Gaga with all the right notes. Slickly produced to perfection andOver a year later, and with a renewed listen due to a new vinyl release, I have to say this is my favorite Lady Gaga album yet. You know she will make some good artistic choices, like A Star is Born and her album and tour with Tony Bennett, but returning to home base with such a strong album is a something she richly deserves. When she sings "This is my dancefloor, I fought for" there is so much truth wrapped up in that line. I've played it to death and it still excites me as much as the first listen.     This album is completely incredible! It came to us at the beginning of the world isolation caused by the COVID-19, and give us hope with amazing rhythms, beats and of course incredible lyrics! Lady Gaga is the best! ❤️
