    After the critically acclaimed NFR! the hype of this album was huge, and the expectations met the reality for sure. Magic happens when Lana and Jack work together, and no one can deny it. Chemtrails is so genuinely pure, so raw, so effortlessly beautiful and out of this world. I'm out of words. I'm just glad I live in the same era as Lana del Rey.

    Chemtrails has a very minimalistic production most of the times, but that makes it perfect. The album has impressive up-tempo moments that are quite rare on Lana's albums, and the lyrical content as always is very strong.

Throughout the Album you can hear songs from different genres, with different styles, while you may not like a few of them, you for sure will love other songs to heaven.     i think this might just be her weakest album. i feel like the first 7 songs are good, meanwhile the rest is lacking something. they are really boring

Lana Del Ray continues to hone in on her signature sound and her captivating storytelling and she proves that she can take it even deeper and further on this album. I found the songs to be very well written and i also generally liked the minimalist and folk direction of the production, most of which was handled by the brilliant Jack Antonoff. Every song is captivating, mainly because of the stories that are being conveyed. White Dress is really odd and brilliant at the same time because of her vocal perfomance and her whispery vocals. The title track which mainly consists of a piano is also really good as it has these nostalgic lyrics. The post chorus on Tulsa Freak Jesus is really captivating and the song is really good. Let me love you like a woman is also really well written with really great layered vocals on the chorus. The rest of the album offers some great songs which are well written and produced. The last 2 or 3 songs though, i found to be a bit uninteresting and underwhelming. Other than that, loved the album.… Expand

    living legend and icon. her career is only getting better. everything on this album was just so pleasing. it was SO satisfying to hear her vocals so much and step outside her comfort zone on white dress. album is 100% a grower no doubt it will age like fine wine

    After Nfr, it was hard to envision anyone ever being able to top it and outdo themselves. On her seventh studio album, Miss Del rey does just that!!! The production Every song is absolutely perfect and precise and Lanas natural lyricism comes to the spotlight. An easy 10/10. Love our queen mother forever.

This is a same old Lana telling stories to her listeners and it delivers with a clear and raw especially in the White Dress. My favorite notable moment is the bridge she sang and the sudden switching she did in Dance till We Die. I really think this is a no skip album.     Love this album so much. So nostalgia evoking, makes you feel like you traveling through the past, looking at the old and painfully familiar places with a different view. It's like a beautiful story told by a campfire. It's like an ode to all those friends and loved ones you used to have and still have.

    It’s hard to resist the sensory impact of these songs. Chemtrails picks up the nostalgic thread of 2019’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!, though here she’s mostly Midwest and more melodic. [Jun 2021, p.25]

    “Tulsa Jesus Freak” is arguably closest to the Lana Del Rey longtime fans know and love, and it’s no surprise that it was written in 2019, around the time NFR! came out. “Yosemite” is another highlight, a stunning number with Del Rey’s vocals at their best. But most songs on Chemtrails don’t stand out. They blend together in their delicateness.
