Tyler did it again. He still keeps the masterful production but now instead of mostly poppy singing and melodies, he replaces them for hard raps. No matter what style he does he manages to take it to 11. This is the Album of the Year and I can't think of anyone who could drop something to top this.

One of the best first listens to an albums I've ever experienced. Incredible production, Tyler here really kills the R&B vibe mixed with much harsher sounds and these really nice smooth wind instruments. Flower Boy and IGOR didn't do it for me even though it felt really close, Call Me If You Get Lost finally got past whatever barrier was there.

    Definitely & Urarguably AOTY 2021....
The album is like the combination of "Cherry bomb" & "Flower boy"....
And DJ Drama sprinkled lots of Hiphop sauciness on it.....

My brain is numb from listening to this for the first time. Not many albums do that to me. He stepped it up lyrically and sonically, the features are amazing, and the tracks flow cohesively. Still have to listen to this many more times before I give it my full consensus, but I’d say that this is the best album of 2021 so far.

When this album I didn’t think Tyler could do better than IGOR I thought that was his true masterpiece and he couldn’t top it but oh boy does Tyler change my mind real quick. This album has no skips and gels so well together and the transitions are godly. Easily a 10 and might be Tyler’s greatest album yet.

'Call Me If You Get Lost' is the best album since Beyoncé's iconic Lemonade, just like Lemonade, Call Me If You Get Lost allows us to listen to the entire album without skipping absolutely any tracks and always wanting to come back from the beginning and hear it all again. With a perfect trilogy within the album formed by SWEET/ THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE, the speech MOMMA TALK and RISE, Tyler provided incredible moments with this album. The production is definitely the best since Kendrick Lamar's great Good Kid Maad City. Expand

It’s like he took the greatest parts from his previous albums, improved on them, and morphed them together into something greater. His satire, flow, genius instrumentals, and messages are close to perfection. Those that are offended by any of this do not understand the point of the satire.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is clearly Tyler, The Creator at his best. His music has matured so much that he won a Grammy for his last album and this album sees him celebrating his success and life with a sound leaning more towards rapping compared to his previous funk effort. On this album, Tyler isn't holding back his skillset as a rapper, singer and producer as well. This what all his fans wanted when they said they wanted to hear him make a. rap album and he pulled it off without making it look like fan service because he truly seems to be enjoying himself. The features here just takes this album to a much higher standard as Tyler makes the chemistry work almost flawlessly between every single one of them. If anyone is trying to get into Tyler's music, this is a great place to start since despite adding new sounds to his inventory, he holds his roots almost as if he has learned something from every album he put out. This is his most accomplished work to date. Expand

Awesome album, one of Tyler's best. He really does a good job at mastering the sound that he'd previously established on prior albums such as Wolf, Cherry Bomb, Flower Boy, and Igor. The album has this wonderful summer vibe that truly makes it feel as if we have entered a tropical climate. Tyler uses this atmosphere to describe his troubled relationship. This is similar to what is seen in Igor, but he focuses less on the breakup itself as the distorted character Igor and more on his troubled love as a normal straight guy. This take surprisingly works wonderfully as the songs work towards painting this picture. Another thing I was surprised by was the features having UZI and Pharrell on Juggernaut with Tyler surprised me but they all stood out and brought something to the track. Honestly, no songs disappoint but the real question is does it beat Igor. I think it's close but I do like it better than flower boy. Best songs: Almost all of them great, Worst song: Manifesto Expand

As it currently stands, in my opinion, this is the best album to come out of 2021 so far. Absolutely love it.

Solid!! Just checked it out and this is better and longer than Igor, this Hip-Hop album contains rap, jazz, soul, soul pop and some urban contemporary RnB. It does cut the magic with some of the features that use auto-tune like Lil Uzi Vert and NBAYoungboy but, the features were a gift with rappers like Lil Wayne and other that blasted my ear drums with complex rhyme schemes. Such a unique and beautiful album. Tyler is mostly going back to his rap roots on this album, however there is some mix of genres like on "SWEET / I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE" and "RISE!".

The features on this album are incredible and feature a variety of different artists in the rap and r&b genre. I personally loved the Fana Hues, Brent Faiyaz, Lil Uzi Vert, and Pharell Williams

I personally loved the Fana Hues, Brent Faiyaz, Lil Uzi Vert, and Pharell Williams features. Each song on here builds on top of one another. The transition between one song to the next is great and well thought out. However, there is some questionable production decisions. I feel like the horns on a couple of these songs were a bit odd and not needed.

Tyler's rapping and flow on this album is perfect and will keep you hooked in and interested the whole way through. There is not one bland or boring track on this album. The beat and flow switches on some of these soongs are something special. This album is definitely gonna be on repeat for me.

Really a unique album that blends all of Tyler's past music into an incredible piece of art. There's nothing absolutely groundbreaking here but it's an absolutely unique album that couldn't be made by anyone other than Tyler. Tyler clearly loves music and it shows in this album. Call Me if You Get Lost is brilliant, and I personally am hoping Tyler takes this mastery of music and uses it to experiment more and push new boundaries in music. Either way, Tyler has clearly established himself as a singular and unique voice in the rap game with his wonderfully eclectic music. Expand

    |9.1| Finally, after Flower Boy, Tyler made an album that I can put on repeat. IGOR was a great album to listen to once but I think this one is a good successor to Flower Boy. Great job Tyler!

Call Me If You Get Lost beautifully uses Tylers arsenal of sounds to create a project that beautifully encapsulates the braggadocious side of Tyler. Whilst the album is less of a narrative approach compared to his previous work with Igor and Flower Boy, it still express’ true character through the punchy one liners, chanting horns, gorgeous synth patterns, and sweeping flutes. Tyler the Creator once again delivers unique styles of rap on a record. Everyone has already said that of course because at this point it's expected. This album has 0 skips even though the music sounds so different to what you hear on the mainstream.

Altough not as conceptual as IGOR, the album has good verses from Tyler and good production

Possible album of the year contender (or rap album of the year). Tyler continues to grow as an artist, although I don't think this album doesn't see him mature as much as he did on Flower Boy or IGOR. Simply, this album feels like a (well earned) victory lap for himself, and I'm all here for it. Enjoyed the project front to back.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tyler introduce us his new persona Tyler Baudelaire and also into a love story. Tyler fells in love with the girlfriend of one of his friends but and end she picks his friends, despite that Tyler put effort into the relationship. It's not Igor, but you can feel the vibes of a heartbreak story, whew Tyler feeds his ego with travels and luxury.

The album is produced by Dj Drama, who also provide narrative in the project, and also includes really interesting features, such as: 42 Dugg, Frank Ocean, Youngboy NBA, Lil Wayne, Domo Genesis, Daisy World, Pharrell Williams, Lil Uzi Vert, etc. From my perspective, it's not his best album, but still is a great record.

My favorite songs definitely are: Sweet / I Thought You Wanted To Dance, Corso, Massa, Hot Wind Blows, Lemonhead, Rise! and Lumberjack.

“Call Me If You Get Lost” is undoubtedly a strong showing by Tyler, The Creator, to say the very least. Despite this album’s fantastic structuring and delivery, however, something that is always to be expected with this artist is that what he creates next will undoubtedly be even better.

To Tyler’s credit, he didn’t rest on his laurels. Instead, he crafted a concise piece of work about a very confident adult realizing his own ego is both his best asset and indeed his worst enemy.
