The letters have so much of emotions and looks like a poems while sound so powerful.     such an unexpected sound from usual blackpink releases but yet carries the essence of the group identity very well. good raps with equally good vocals all the song stand out on their own. it was an overwhelming experience to finally hear new music from them and that was totally worth the wait.

    I've always been a really huge fan of BLACKPINK and I was really looking forward to Born Pink. Although, I wasn't expecting a lot of it, to be honest. I preferred to keep my expectations low so I would get mad if I didn't get what I wanted. However, the quality got me on the first listen, every damn song on that album slapped so damn hard, like "Wow!", I was gagged. I'm glad they triedI've always been a really huge fan of BLACKPINK and I was really looking forward to Born Pink. Although, I wasn't expecting a lot of it, to be honest.     Este es un álbum hermoso, se nota que cada canción fue bien pensada y define perfectamente el lema "calidad a cantidad", todas las canciones resaltan en diferente forma. La verdad que es de esos albumes que no te dan ganas de saltarte ninguna canción. A pesar de ser su segundo álbum, considero que es el mejor.

    These girls really were born to be the BLACKPINK. It's amazing how we never get disappointed by them, each music has a special thing, it's insane. The only sad thing is to have only 8 songs in the album, so we hope a not so long hiatus this time. Maybe we can see Jisoo solo soon! Looking forward for their next project.

They explored the genres of music very well to fit this album, and they did. The track 'Yeah Yeah Yeah' has a retro disco pop genre, which reminds me of 80s/90s music. I want to detail that there are leaked projects and demos, and that YGE could easily resurrect these demos and bring quality beats to us. 'TOUCHDOWN', for example, would be a track with electro-pop and bubblegum-pop genres. 'Hot Ice' would be a psychedelic electro-house. 'Come Alive' would be a ballad, but with soft, flat-like beats. That only BLACKPINK can do, after all, it's the biggest girl group in the world, and the biggest group of 2022. QUEENS, only.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. In general, it's a good Sophomore Album following their debut 'The Album'. New sound, new feels, but at the same time—it is still BLACKPINK. Though I'm expecting a 10+ songs since it's a full album, a new song structure esp. for their title track 'Shut Down' which sampled Paganini's 'La Campanella' and of course entirely branded songs (referring to Ready For Love). I also wished that they followed a certain structure for the album to make the songs coherent and not make it kind of messy. Many fans speculated that BLACKPINK would be exploring new era after this and I also hope that they really do. They should stop with the 'quality over quantity' and just give their all, besides they never made a bad song—always good. With BORN PINK, they gave us some of their best songs like 'The Happiest Girl' which is contrast with its title, 'Typa Girl' which gave the same feels as 'Pretty Savage' but better, and 'Yeah Yeah Yeah' that Jisoo and Rosé co-written.     As a blonk since 2019, I have to admit, this album is trash. I developed permanent ear damage after listening to Jisoo's dying goat voice and my fave nasalist's, Rosé's vocals. Someone should donate her a vicks because I fear her nose is clogged permanently. I have to admit, my faves tanked and and they should disband.

    Every song in this album is a BANGER. Vocal wise : they're at their peak. Matured and strong vocals from each one of them. Music wise : the genres are really rich. Pop, disco, classical, a little punk & rock, you name it. Don't forget the main dish : HIP HOP TO THE CORE (ofc)

    Achei meio xoxinho, a title Shut Down é a mais fraca do BLACKPINK e é uma música muito ruim, as únicas que eu realmente gostei foram a solo da Rosé, Yeah Yeah Yeah e Typa Girl, mas nada muito incrível. No geral o album é chatinho de ouvir

    Not big surprises on this album, overhyped just like the group. One track sounding similar to Pretty Savage of their previous album, a solo song being putted on tracklist from nowhere... there's a lot of kpop groups doing better music.

    I honestly loved this album, it managed to be even better than "The Album", showed one of the best sides of Blackpink and uses sound evolution. I hope that in the coming years their company will be able to work better on their vocals because it is a sure bet.

    On ‘Born Pink’, BLACKPINK tread familiar thematic territory for pop music, but the imagery – finding solace from heartbreak at the bottom of a bottle (‘The Happiest Girl’), boasting about being the type of girl you take to your “mama house” (‘Typa Girl’) – isn’t particularly novel, though they have effectively applied a personal touch in the past (see Jennie’s ‘Solo’).
