    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE BEAUTY OF THIS ALBUM. This is not like any other Lana del Rey project, it's special. In this album 'Blue Banisters' she does something she hasn't done before. The album reflects her story really well, where she's at now and where she was. The songs 'Living Legend' 'Cherry Blossom' and 'Nectar of the Gods' tell her story extra well since they're about 10 years old.

    She's very experimental with this album and her voice is everywhere. She does everything you would want her to do. In 'Dealer' 'Black Bathing Suit' and 'Living Legend' she's yelling. In 'Cherry Blossom' 'Beautiful' and 'Sweet Carolina' you can hear her wonderful vocals.    … Expand

She talks about turn sadness into happiness, her life experiences, and the love lyrics are so mature too, the song "violet for roses" shows a lot of personal growing and self love in lana, the line "ever since i fell out of love with you i fell back in love with me", that's beautiful. And the piano and guitar production mixed with blues is just perfect. Lana did it again, and she did it better than ever… Expand

    After a first listen I still can't believe she outdid herself again, but I shouldn't be surprised since we're talking about Lana Del Rey here ! This album is so cohesive and well written but with a new side of her such as in "Dealer" where we can hear a whole new Lana that we never heard before, her vocal performance on this album is such a refreshment. My favorite tracks are the followingAfter a first listen I still can't believe she outdid herself again, but I shouldn't be surprised since we're talking about Lana Del Rey here !     Não sei descrever o quanto esse álbum foi incrível de ouvir. Na minha opinião, esse é o segundo melhor álbum da Lana, atrás apenas do já clássico Norman **** Rockwell! A maestria da poetisa Del Rey está mais forte do que nunca. Há faixas melancólicas e eletrizantes. Dealer é diferente de tudo que já ouvi e uma das melhores de toda a discografia!

    Two amazing albums released in the same calendar year. Some of her best unreleased songs are now public releases and work so well to fit the vibe of this album. Black bathing suit was a stand out song for me, that tempo change and the backing vocals make the song truly unique. The whole album from top to bottom has such beautiful vocals and melodies.     This is brilliant. She stunned us earlier this year with “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” and she’s done it again. This is a similar clash between Norman **** Rockwell, Chemtrails, and Ultraviolence. Her vocals are the best of her career. And so are her lyrics, the lyrics are EFFIN phenomenal.

Del Rey, de fato conseguiu o que ela queria nos passar, que era seus mais íntimos sentimentos , suas letras se tornam poesias cantadas que nos fazem retornar ao passado, em uma época onde os amores venciam, sejam eles fracassados ouNesse álbum , Lana consegue demonstrar seus sentimentos da forma mais pura e singela , através de uma voz pura com a harmonia dos instrumentos em orquestras. Del Rey, de fato conseguiu o que ela queria nos passar, que era seus mais íntimos sentimentos , suas letras se tornam poesias cantadas que nos fazem retornar ao passado, em uma época onde os amores venciam, sejam eles fracassados ou não, acompanhados de uma coca cola, sentados em um hotel de beira de estrada e vendo o tempo passar.
    Os instrumentos que vão de um sopro à uma imitação de guitarra, na 13º faixa, intitulada Living Legend, onde, Del Rey relata a forma como as atitudes de seu amado às levam para o céu.
    Dealer , faixa 9º é a mais extravagante e volumosa do álbum, seus gritos em canto são como um suspiro de clamor por atenção.
    Thunder , 10º faixa , é a mais tocante do álbum, com a melhor letra e melodia, a harmonização dos instrumentos com a voz da cantora é surreal.

    In her eight LP, Lana del Rey has brought her story through an entirely new "unreleased" lens. Blue banisters feels like a mosaic of all her earlier stuff. This is also her most wabi-sabi album to date, as she's shown that there's beauty in simplicity and imperfections.

    While the days of Born to Die have long since passed, Lana Del Rey is still seeking paradise, closer now than ever as she turns her search inward, seemingly recognizing that paradise is ultimately found within the best of oneself. Still, if there is indeed a physical Arcadia to be revealed, it has not emerged in its entirety on Blue Banisters. That said, its intoxicating hints are enough to keep seekers thirsty.
