Amo que a primeira parte é uma coisa mais militante e ativista, o quê de certa forma falta na indústria e nas músicas atuais. Enquanto a segunda parte trata do fim da relação, com letras e batidas super fodas.

    Without a doubt Marina's best album to date, it met all the expectations we diamonds had, perfect melodies, very well adapted lyrics and a brilliant aesthetic.

    It's a strong return to The Family Jewels, but much more mature, as if she was carrying a luggage of the highs of her previous eras. A good departure from Love + Fear, she lyrically took the sentiment from To Be Human (the best song of that album) and translated it to an album that instrumentally sound as polished as Froot, with a sassy attitude from Electra Heart and the quirky identityIt's a strong return to The Family Jewels, but much more mature, as if she was carrying a luggage of the highs of her previous eras.     Cohesive album. Echoes of Froot and The Family Jewels. Good return to form. She should continue riding this high. If she keeps it up and does these same things with the next album, and focusing on the personal as opposed to political, she’ll knock it out of the park.

    this album combines all of the strengths of her previous records and is overall just a pleasant listening experience. from major bops talking about social and political issues to beautifully sad ballads this album is exciting track after track. written all by herself this is without a doubt marina's most ambitious record yet!!

    Record quite short but definitely makes up by quality. Starting loud and ending with touching ballads. Each song keeps us in suspense to the very end. I really enjoy this very political Marina, not disappointed.

    Marina never disappoints. From before this album came out I knew it was going to be good, but even so, I was taken by surprise.
    Marina took all the elements that characterize her and united them in this project that show how enormously talented she is.
    From "The Family Jewels" to "Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land" Marina has shown that there is no one like her. Amazing.

    I love the way Marina is giving us an album that contains real and hard feelings. And also we get songs to dance and feel free. That's her style:something real, something human, anything but ordinary. I admired her and her uniqueness.

The way Marina manages to produce a frantic melody with information-rich lyrics without seeming boring or tedious is very accurate. I managed to connect with each letter in a unique way, I could tell that Marina tried to connect with us in a way that she hadn't been able to before and hit the nail on the head. This album has beautiful lyrics and unmatched melodies. I completely feel Marina talking to me and telling me how she feels or as if she knows me so well as to say what I can't. She feels like Marina finally manages to open up to us and she talks to us about the art industry, she gives us a criticizes society and current social problems, it also shows us that part of love that hurts so much, that we do not want to talk about, She teaches us that even if we believe that this person is the right one, their actions will make us see the reality of the idea of ​​romantic love that we have implanted in our heads.     Simply one album I think people should, definitely, hear. "Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land" is one of her best albums (if not her best) alongside Froot. All four singles previously released are splendid and this album totally deserves a chance of being heard.

    An amazing album with fantastic production and lyrics. A couple of songs kind of lagged behind the rest but overall it’s a well rounded album

    Um álbum espetacular, a deusa grega, mais uma vez expõe seu lado absolutamente artístico e transcendente. Ancient Dreams, é um álbum emocionante, o caos da deusa Artemis com a esplendorosa beleza de Afrodite. Simplesmente, o melhor álbum do ano até hoje.

    Complete magic. ♥ I love the way Marina is giving us an album that contains real and hard feelings. And also we get songs to dance and feel free. That's her style:something real, something human, anything but ordinary. I admired her and her uniqueness.

    I have nothing against Marina, but the album is boring and outdated. I don't understand the surrounding hype. He's not bad, and he's not good.

    Everything is delicate, but nothing is muted. This aesthetic certainly isn’t for everybody, but after her ambivalent pop experiments, Marina no longer needs her albums to be. It’s a beacon out for the highly emotional people of the world, of whom she clearly is one; it’s for her.
