Superhero fans will likely be into Push just for the cool-factor of watching embattled heroes and villains in tense war of wits, wills, and skills. That broader audience is less likely to come along for the ride.
As fantastical as all that sounds, the pleasure of Push comes from its glamorized grit, its no-nonsense pacing and the committed performances of the actors roughhousing in the gray area between heroism and villainy. It's pure popcorn, popped fresh, doused in butter and sprinkled with soy sauce.

Cult **** probably will be will become one. Like movies as "Cloud Atlas" and "Watchmen" it has a complicated storyline and if you don't want to put the attention and energy in to figure out how it sticks together it will not make much sense. However if you do really give it a chance it is a quite special little movie. It feels like Michael Mann meets Philip ****. The movie simply is a visual feast. There is no shot that isn't composed to perfection using the Hong Kong backdrop as a character in the movie. If you love science fiction, then this one should be in your collection, because it's one of those special movies you'll pull out and watch again every once in a while. Or at least I do.

Don't listen to the reviews for this movie. This movie is a great time filled with interesting characters in a world that is as mysterious as it is intriguing,Push may not be for everyone with it's geeky government super power conspiracy plot, but if you somehow actually managed to enjoy Jumper, or you are like me and wanted to see it done better, this is a good choice.

A supernatural action thriller, is jangly, jarring and violent. But more disconcerting is watching the sweet-faced Dakota Fanning swear, get drunk and pack heat -- in both fists, no less.
This completely rips off "Heroes," which itself ripped off a great deal from the "X-Men," so no real imagination here...except for the "Sniffs," who creepily track people by smell.
A ragbag of shopworn ideas nicked from Philip K. Dick, this sci-fi thriller never stops finding new ways to make no sense.
If your tolerance for repetition in genre films is already low, this one will probably push you right over the edge.
I saw the original version of this same story 28 years ago. It was called "Scanners" and it blew my mind for real. Push just blows.
Wow, now I am beyond convinced that critics simply can not be trusted. Push was f*cking awesome, the story was GREAT, the characters were well thought out, the acting was GREAT, the cool super power fight sequences were AWESOME, I'm not giving this a 10 to balance out the negative reviews, I'm giving this movie a 10 because it deserves it. F*ck the critics and go watch this, everyone should experience this movie

This movie gets a bit too much hate from the critics. It's not awful but it is very much flawed. I like the premise of countries and 3 letter agencies using people with extraordinary abilities to do their bidding, but instead of watching a movie based on that, we got a movie about some rouge superhumans tracking down a suitcase. For the most part the plot makes sense, but near the end it falls apart. It could have been a disaster, and it could have been really good, but it falls into the middle of the road.

While the action scenes are certainly flashy, the film is filled to the brim with lethargic performances, drab dialogue, and a plot line that's painfully inconsistent and short on rationality.

Push is a terrible comic book movie starring Chris Evans. It's easily the worst comic book movie he has ever been in. It is such a boring movie that pretty much just goes nowhere and has uninteresting characters. The plot is very confusing. Not much goes on in this film. I first watched it on SyFy a few weeks ago and it was a total waste of an hour and fortyish minutes of my life I'll never get back. I don't know why some people say this film is underrated, it's just plain terrible and got the reception it deserved from most film critics. Nothing about this film is underrated. I fell asleep during the second act cause the film was just so, so, so boring. The last scene in Push was very, very, very anti-climatic. Push is a stupid, slow-paced, terrible, boring, confusing, and sleep-inducing snooze-fest that tries to be cool but just ends up being lame.
