[WiiWare] LostWinds is a fresh, enchanting adventure that lets you wield the awesome powers of Enril the wind Spirit - from raging tornados to the gentlest breeze – to guide and protect Toku, a young boy who is the only one who can help you release the curse placed upon the world of Mistralis and its people by evil Balasar. Whether it's through the broad strokes of the brilliantly judged puzzling and flawless control or via the delicate flecks which make up the finer detail – try playing around with the background scenery to see just how much Enril can mess about with – the sheer joy of playing LostWinds is undeniable.

Here's a game that proves with smart play mechanics and a beautiful visual style that developers can do so much with 43 megabytes, let alone the disc space available for full Wii games. The game's got a fresh gameplay hook, mostly tight controls, surprisingly clean and polished graphics and perfectly peaceful melodies.

With charming graphics and a great control scheme, this title is a premiere example of WiiWare titles that are all but cheap hand-me-downs. Controlling your character by manipulating the wind is great fun and easy to understand. This is a short experience though, easily being beatable in one sitting. No replay value whatsoever lowers the score of an otherwise great title that is definitely worth it's price tag.
