Compared with Final Fantasy XV, released in the same year as World of Final Fantasy, I find this game that much more enjoyable and replayable, because it is a gorgeous throwback to the history of the franchise, and because it doesn't take itself seriously.
One of the best JRPG available for both Switch and Xbox One. Gorgeos graphics and 40 hours of turn-based combats and exploration duties awaits.

worth it and glad to play this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this spin off game in the series.

The best surprise we could ever have! This game just brings us back the feeling we have when played the old classic games from the franchise and, at the same time, makes us feel turn based systems still have their space today. Great new content within Maxima's version. Really 10 out 10.

It's a great game for Final Fantasy fans, and fans of JRPGs, though unlike Pokemon Let's Go, it's not going to be super easy for younger kids to get the most out of a complex battle and leveling system.
World of Final Fantasy Maxima remains a rather fantastic game. Despite the story not being much to shout about, there is so much to like about the journey. The interactions between characters as well as the gameplay are incredibly well crafted. Maxima's presentation is halfway there between the higher-end versions and the PS Vita release. The textures aren't as flat as on Vita, but there is some blurriness to be seen. Overall though, this is one of the better full-blown RPGs on the system, with a no-nonsense approach that kept me coming back.
World of Final Fantasy Maxima features more options, minigames, bosses and soundtracks than the previous version. Even if the new features aren't such a great thing, the game is still largely enjoyable.
World of Final Fantasy Maxima acts as a wonderful celebration of the Final Fantasy series that will surely appeal to fans both new and old. Though the difficulty is a little on the easy side, the story is uninspired and the visuals are disappointingly blurry, the Mirage-catching mechanics and well-crafted RPG systems make this one a good recommendation. If you loved the Final Fantasy games of days past, you’re sure to love this one, and if you’re new to the series or the JRPG genre in better, this is a great place to jump in; just don't expect anything too demanding.
World of Final Fantasy, while a spin-off, still offers a deep Final Fantasy experience. You need a lot of patience for grinding, however, to follow along with the story.
This is a really fun game. If you like Final Fantasy and Pokemon, you will most likely love this. Lots of references to old FF games, and it's a ton of fun to collect all the little monsters. Game is pretty easy, but it's relaxing and a lot of fun. Not something you play if you want a huge challenge.

Um jogo que tinha tudo para ser excelente, mas faltou alguns pontos que fariam toda a diferença e que deixariam a jogabilidade ainda mais divertida e menos cansativa em alguns momentos. Mas ainda assim é um prato cheio para qualquer fã de RPG e da franquia Final Fantasy.

Who knew simple graphics could lead to such a greatness game. If you like mashing off FF worlds and characters, this will be up your alley. You can even become your favorite characters! It’s simple Pokemon-ish gameplay makes it fun. The story is long so you won’t be left out on content. The main character backstories were lackluster but didn’t ruin the appeal for the game.

A fine addition to the monster catching genre with some fresh and fun mechanics, but the their potential is never fully realised and the game is quite hard to separate from its roots. Add an extra point if you're at least a little bit of a Final Fantasy fan.
