A title which has almost infinite replay value because every time you play it it’s a different game. Even if you repeatedly just play the same map over and over again the variety of things you can do and the impressive AI of the CPU opponents means that it’s never the same game twice.
The magic of "StarCraft's" expertly designed strategy glows brightly enough to blind you to its few inadequacies.

It's nice that we can play starcraft on android with a n64 emulator and a rom of this game

While there isn't much for fans of the popular PC version of Starcraft to get excited about, those new to the series will enjoy engaging, addictive gameplay coupled with an incredibly protracted single player mode.
Of course, puzzle fans, tetris players, strategists and nude twister players alike will all love Starcraft 64!
If you have the PC game, you're going to start whining and wishing for a mouse and keyboard.
If you're an RTS fan who never got a chance to check out "StarCraft" on your PC, then you should definitely give it a whirl. If you've already conquered the universe, there ain't no reason to do it on your N64.
The game just doesn't measure up to PC standards; it doesn't even come close.
It's sure not as good as the PC version, but SC64 was a great substitute while waiting for my brother to finish up on the computer when I was a kid. I'll start by listing the few things this version did better than its PC big brother; BIGGER ARMIES! Yes, undoubtedly my favourite feature of SC64 was that the grouping size was expanded from 12 units to... 24? 18? Honestly can't remember the exact number, it's been a while. The other high note was that SC64 contained the entire game; as in all six campaigns, including Brood War. This made it a nice contained package without needing to buy/install both the base game and expansion (There was no editor, however).
Aaaaaand now to the bad. It's ugly... one of StarCraft's strengths was always its great design work, but on SC64, the visuals really do suffer. Perhaps the biggest issue, however, is framerate. For small maps and missions the game works fine, but by the time you reach the huge missions toward the end of the Brood War campaigns, the framerate becomes almost unplayably low. The same is the case for multiplayer. The split screen multiplayer is great for small maps, but large late-game matches suffer terribly.
At the end of the day StarCraft 64, like every console RTS I've played, just doesn't really come together like it should. With all that said though... I remember it very fondly from a nostalgic viewpoint.

Like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Spider-man 3, and all the newest star wars movies, this game does not need to exist. The PC version is the only viable way to play. If you play Starcraft 64, you're gonna have a bad time

Don't not play this version. Play on PC. The game and how it was created is not playable on this version. It's not that the developers did a bad job, its just that this should have never been produced. There is no way to take a game that uses a full keyboard and mouse and move it to to a console that uses a joystick and a few buttons. It completely ruins the experience and what you're able to do in the game. I remember as a kid showing my sister Starcraft through the 64 version and it completely ruined their experience and perception of the game.
