    Amazing album, 10/10! Demi has always been honest in her music, but this is the most honest she’s been in her whole career. The lyrics are so her. Every song is flawless! I would 100% recommend you give it a listen.

    Excellent from start to finish. The lyrics, vocals, production, cohesion all tell a story, and tells is well. This album will be enjoyed not only by fans, but people who have not really listened to Demi. The best tracks first listen are “Met Him Last Night” “Easy” and “Butterfly”

The pop, R&B and trap-influenced tracks worked well on Demi's repertoire for long time, however ballads seems to fit better with the mature girl we're listening now. Would y'all stop the hate for a minute so she can breathe? Those drug jokes used to be painful, and now they are... dull. Demi's growing, and you?

    This album is such a potion of life, gives me strength to keep living. In the first 3 songs you have a bad feeling, you cry a lot but when she comes on intro, omg, your life starts to shine, youre happy also in the sad songs, this is art, this is the art of starting over. I LOVE YOU DEMI

    We waited almost 4 years for this album, but it was worth it because it's a MASTERPIECE. The sounds, the production, the lyrics, the vocals, everything. This is the most honest and raw album I have ever heard. She's the best herself now, she truly lives her best life and she finally makes that kind of music what she wants and loves. This album deserves a Grammy.

Demi has never released a mediocre album in her career but this is sure to be the best she’s done so far. This album is the best emotion conjuring and tear jerking album released in a while. The slow songs were still captivating, evoking emotions and empathy you weren’t aware u had. Each song took u on a different journey, using every asset of her disposal to convey her journey: lyrics, melody, production, range, tone and dynamics. Despite being a relatively raw artist, this album took rawness too the next level, sending the listener on an rollercoaster of pain, regret and repentance.

    Through her anguish, Demi carves a new kind of pop she describes as “ethereal dream pop”, showing off a sweeter, more delicate range versus the heavy belts from her previous bodies of work. It’s obvious her vocals have gone next level while remaining relatively tame for her style of singing. Nonetheless, she wasn’t afraid to still show she had the range with money notes in both the title track and her collab with peer and friend, Ariana Grande, lending her vocals and writing chops to “I Met Him Last Night”, the albums next hit single.

    All in all we got to see the worst and most raw side of Demi while also witnessing her growth, both humanly, as an artist and as vocalist.    … Expand

    I like this album. I don’t LOVE it because she has a tendency to ‘over-sing’ and sometimes it sounds like she’s straining her voice. I think she should use high notes sparingly as that really adds to the wow factor. However, I appreciate the message behind the album and know how hard this album was for her to make. Não consigo entender como alguém pode fazer mal a ela, mas foi muito gratificante assistir o clipe de Dancing with the devil e depois ir ouvindo o álbum porque realmente mostra que ela está tentando deixar tudo isso para trás.     Never been a fan of Demi Lovato but after seeing her doc, I grew interest on her and found out she had an album coming out soon which was this. The album itself is great, the album openers are so raw and heartfelt. All the tracks are great too, I found it really enjoyable, good job Demi. My favourite song would probably be ICU

But when you are one of only a few people that has overdosed infront of the entire world and lived to see the other side, I knew I had to give this album a full listen with no distractions. I wish she would have mixed up the tracklist a little and taken us on more of a journey. The powerful songs would have hit harder with less fillers. A produção tal qual as letras são rasasMuito embora a Demi tenha passado por muita coisa, não acredito que ela seja a melhor se expressando liricamente sobre o assunto, mesmo com uma equipe de compositores trabalhando com ela, somente as duas primeiras faixas oferecem algo mais pessoal, intimista, de restante poderiam ser escritas de qualquer pessoa passando ou superando uma fase difícil. A produção tal qual as letras são rasas e o que se destaca de vez em quando são os vocais da demi. Nenhuma das colaborações trouxe algo de muito primordial ou cristalino.     what a good album. I got goosebumps listening to some tracks and cried. But also there are many summer bops and chill songs i see myself listening to in the car. my favorite album released this year so far. would totally recommend

    A beautiful story of how she’s gone through everything that life has thrown at her and overcome it all the same. “Dancing with the Devil” is definitely the stand out track, along with “Good Place” and last year’s “Anyone” as detailed and heartfelt tales of her struggles, but the album saves itself from falling down a tunnel of self-pitying balladry by including the relaxed vibes of “MetA beautiful story of how she’s gone through everything that life has thrown at her and overcome it all the same. “Dancing with the Devil” is definitely the stand out track, along with “Good Place” and last year’s “Anyone” as detailed and heartfelt tales of her struggles, but the album saves itself from falling down a tunnel of self-pitying balladry by including the relaxed vibes of “Met Him Last Night” featuring Ariana Grande and the sassy breaks of “15 Minutes” and “My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend” featuring Saweetie.     it’s just perfect, it’s her most mature album, really cohesive, it’s like a movie of her life, it’s a special album, for my opinion her best album.

    The opening three tracks are almost an EP in their own right, before a quick reset. Semi title track ‘The Art Of Starting Over’ begins anew, a straight forward bop that gets to the root of Demi’s recovery – her natural talent, her ear for pop magic, affording room for personal renewal.
